This lid is not the proper size for sealing the 26" x 18" Rubbermaid container it says it is compatible with. This is a waste of money, and frustrating to use because it falls off easily and is not airtight.

This was the lid suggested for the Rubbermaid 8.5 gallon tray from the same commercial line. But the lid doesn’t fit. It seems like it’s about 1/2 inch too wide, and just slightly shorter on the length. This is also a Rubbermaid (stamped) product. But it just doesn’t fit, and is unusable for food storage as it won’t make a deal.

Do not order this lid if you are expecting a Rubbermaid product. It is NOT Rubbermaid, but rather Choice which is a manufacturer out of China. It will NOT fit any Rubbermaid tub. If I could give this 0 starts I would. I sent the first one back thinking it was a mistake and the replacement was still not Rubbermaid. Highly disappointed.
