Needed this to fix an air gap in a door for which the frame is off-kilter. Not the ideal way to solve the problem, but it'll do. Had plenty of the material left for several other projects. Product description is accurate and material is better than anything I could find in local stores.

This adhesive rubber strip is good for a number of uses. I first used this to reduce the noise between two metal pieces that rattle and make noise when a door is moved. There is just enough of a gap that allows one part to move around. I used a pen and outlined the part on the rubber and then used a simple pair of scissors to cut the rubber to match the part. The adhesive cover was simple to remove and place on the part and sticks very well. I have a number of these types of projects I am going to do around the house. The rubber strip is a good solid 1/8” thick and does not collapse much when put under pressure. You can also double up on the strips to make thicker strips. The strip is easy to cut with a standard pair of scissors or you can use an exacto knife for a more precise and clean cut. The adhesive works well and it is not difficult to find the edge to pull off the adhesive strip covering when ready to stick. To really help it stick be sure to clean the area you are applying the strip to with alcohol and heat up the strip with a blow dryer before sticking. So far I am happy with the quality and versatility of this roll of adhesive rubber.

I needed some adhesive backed rubber or silicone strips to replace the ones on the bottom of one of my 3D printers. Over time and the heat from the printer those feet got harder and were passing a lot of vibrations into my prints. While I know this product is labeled as a weather stipping and it probably would do well there in the right application I needed it for off label use. I opted for the thicker of the two options which is more conducive to my needs where the thinner one I could see being better as a weather stripping. The roll I ordered came in at twenty five mm wide so a smidge under one inch, but that is somewhat common for imported items these days. Thickness including the adhesive backing was three point five eight which is a little thicker than the eighth inch. I didn’t capture an image of it but measuring only the rubber it comes in at exactly three point two five mm.I don’t own a durometer to check the actual hardness but it feels like it’s around a shore ninety-ish. You can compress it with your fingers some but not a lot. For my use case as an isolation tool it’s much better than what I had there but in hindsight a softer but thicker one might have been a bit better in my case. I certainly can’t hold that against this product, other than being a smidge less wide this product delivered exactly what they advertised.

Not only can it be used to seal it works great for adding rubber feet to the bottom of something to prevent it from sliding or to protect what it may be sitting on.

I wanted this for using for under industrial metal legs that I made a work table out of. It sits on a smooth concrete floor, and wanted to prevent it from sliding around because I also have vises mounted on it. In addition, it would serve as a moisture barrier. The adhesive is fine, and by cutting a couple pieces to length and applying them side by side, they worked like a charm. They have the added benefit of being gray, which happened to also be the color of the legs and floor. I'm happy with this, and the price was right.

This is widely useful for me for adding non-slip feet to things, for leveling when the existing feet are a touch short, and for sealing up diy enclosures for my electronics. Good stuff.

Very nice texture and grip on this, ended up using as an anti-skid material on the bottom of some furniture. The material is firm and actually quite "sticky". The VHB tape on the back held strong against some lateral movement of heavy furniture. I can only imagine the tape will stick better with weight and time on it. The roll is a convenient amount for lots of different options. This stuff is versatile and great. Recommended for sure.
