Instructions
1.Remove the pin of the hook and pull the hook off the cable.
2.Simply install the rope or cable between two and a half parts, and because of the two-piece design, there is no need to use the casing or any lubricant of the wire rope.
3.Insert four bolts and tighten them with the inner hexagonal wrench attached to the box.
4. Put the hook back to the end of the cable or rope. contact the contracting part of the clutch and shaft until the hook is located on the hook and ball.
5.please locate the hook limiter at approximately 3 4 of the hook length when using the winch.

Its a rubber stop for your winch line. It works as it should. If you dont stop using the winch , the winch will destroy it. But i assume people know that and what it for

Our tow rope was getting worn and torn due to a metal splinter in our tow guide. This stopper does not protect the rest of the rope running across that splinter, but it does protect the end of the rope toward the hook that is most vulnerable. it also keeps our hook from jamming into the guide. we live in rural Alaska and are hard on our 4 wheelers, but this helps protect our tow rope as well as anything can.UPDATE: 1 removed 1 star because 2 weeks into winter and the stopper broke. I can’t imagine that it was because of the metal splinter, but we do have a foot of snow covering a large area and are constantly raising and lowering the plow, so we may have just been too hard on it.
