After doing some research, I ordered this to remove the pin striping off my black f250. While it worked great and I was able to peel most of the pin striping off after getting the edges up, it left marks on my clear coat. Luckily I am going to be painting over it BUT for those of you who aren't BEWARE. I tried taking pictures but the lighting made it hard to see the damage that was left. Worked great otherwise and I got lucky on this one due to the project I was using it for but can't recommend it. I used it on a low setting and did not press hard as directed so I don't believe it was an operating error and from the description it clearly states that it will not cause damage. Not true.

It took me a few minutes to get the hang of this tool. I ran my Ryobi drill on 4 for a pretty quick speed. It takes A LOT OF PRESSURE at the right angle for decals to rub off! Once you see the proper angle to use, you’ll see the vinyl being erased. I was removing 20 year old vinyl numbers from a painted surface, so I’m sure that’s why it took so much pressure to work. Your shirt will get covered in tiny rubber bits but you can easily shake them right off!

DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE USING PRODUCT, THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO MESS THIS UP THST CAN BE EASILY AVOIDED. I.E. holding in one area too long, not using flat side edge as recommended, not heating surface, etc.If you know what you are doing, this is a perfect product at an honest price. DO NOT BURN YOUR CAR UP AND BLAME THIS FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS, the rubber is made to wear away as used…it will become a smaller wheel over time, that means the material is softer than your surface and that IS what you want, if it wasn’t it would be a grinder wheel and your vehicle would really be ruined…

I didn't think it was going to work on the sticky foam glue that was used to attached an accessory to my car. To my amazement it worked and it did not damage my car's paint. Greta product!

This product was a time and labor saver! I wanted to sell two work trucks that had our business logo on the doors and tailgates; therefore, I hesitantly bought this product to just try. What a game changer! It was almost an effortless job. I highly recommend this tool and I bought a spare...so now count me as a repeat customer!

Works as advertised, long lasting. A medium drill speed worked best. faster speed melts glue & smears. Then its very difficult to clean that off. Suggest electric tool for larger jobs. 27 year old vinyl lettering All 3 sides only took 1 wheel & 2 hours by myself.
