My daughter and husband made a misguided attempt to spruce up our kitchen by painting the cabinets with latex paint… let’s just say It Did Not Go Well. This stuff is the miracle I needed to remove the paint while not damaging the melamine! Amazing stuff. Easy to use.

Did not work for some latex paint spots on the floor. I went and got Goof Off Pro (the Pro part is important!), and it worked almost instantly.

Attempted to remove cured but poorly-bonded/unprimed eggshell and satin Latex paint from previously painted drywall. Paints is easy to remove with scraper as it is not bonded to substrate - flakes off revealing previous pates paint coat below.Following the manufacturer's recommendations for application and removal had no effect on either eggshell or sating paints. Working it in with a brush had no effect and it only beaded off the surface. Attempted to improve effectiveness using the following methods:- deglaze surface with Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) to allow better penetration,- score surface using abrasive scotch-brite pads, and- score a fine grid with a razor blade to allow penetration of the product behind the top layer of latex paint.I attempted to remove the paint using rags, scrapers, spatulas, and razor blades, and in every case the removal of latex paint was as difficult as without using the product.Given that the product had absolutely no effect at all, I am led to believe that the product name "Latex Paint Remover" borders on false advertising if presented without caveat. Maybe the product works on uncured Latex paint, but neither product description, manufacturer's webpage, or label on the bottle caveat any part of the description as geared towards uncured paint.Disappointing and entirely ineffective product with misleading title.

This has always been a great product (ex. works well, effective, low/pleasant odor). Problem is, we haven't been able to find it on the shelves at hardware stores for over 2 yrs. I was ecstatic to find it available via Amazon.

When I applied it to my flooring the paint swipes right off with just a cloth. Clothing is a little trickier. The spray dries up pretty quick so after a minute you need to apply more but as long as u work on it while wet is works well.

I have been buying other products to strip the latex paint off my old cupboard fronts and nothing was working. The paint was a deep red/purple and at year after year of painting on top of the old paint. With that said; i was just about to give up. Days of trying with other products and nothing but an absolute smear mess and needing my power sander to try to fade it and it was looking horrible. SO I TRIED THIS PRODUCT AND OH MY GOSH THANK YOU. It is soooo easy to use; spray, leave on for 15 minutes and use a scrapper knife and away you go with light elbow grease to remove easily. it literally peeled all the layers right to the wood. those little peaces that dont come off? no problem... grab a cloth with soap and water and literally just wipe it off. I literally came back to my computer and bought more because i have a lot more cupboards to do. and no, there is no harsh smell.thank you ...excellent product!!!!!

It smells good and truly works. But make sure you wash the floor with cleaner or your going ice skating. Took spray paint off tile floors. I have always used this kind. So I thought if you want something that works this one is it.

Works beautifully, low Odor, low fumes, and not harmful to skin, does not severely burn ! Can be used indoors when there is ventilation .All the products from this company are wonderful! Myself and my husband have asthma and copd and it does not cause discomfort or issue with our lungs. A very important benefit . Water based andBiodegradable ! Highly recommend this brand to anyone for most projects. There iare also paint and stain stripper, adhesive and caulk remover, graffiti remover along with the latex paint remover, which also works well n the laundry to remove paint from most fabrics.
