This is very good molding. I used it around 1/4 inch plexiglass shelving.

I used this edging for a piece of hardware cloth to cover my engine when the car is parked, because a squirrel had been getting in and eating cones on top of the engine. Didn't want wire mesh to snag anything nor cut my hands taking it out, so I got this edging and chose silicone as the most heat tolerant material.I was able to attach strips of this U trim to all sides of the rectangular piece without any need for adhesive, just using a snip of wire at the corner ends bent back to pinch into place. It fits snugly and so far doesn't need any other attachment. The material is quite strong and thick but malleable enough for the sharp edges to also provide some grip. So I am quite satisfied with the product quality and has worked perfectly for this application.

This silicone U-channel edge guard meets my needs for a mirror light surround for a 36'x48" wall mirror. Pliable enough to install on a 1.5-inch diameter curve without any cutting. I have another mirror light for a different bathroom mirror 36"x36" that will not have curves in the inside corners that I will have to miter-cut the product. The judicious application of CA glue comes in handy if it becomes necessary.

I used this on a drill press. The lid where the belts are located vibrated loudly. It was metal on metal. This rubber fit perfect, on lower edge.No more vibration. No more noise.

I tried to use this to cover a fairly sharp edge on a piece of outdoor furniture. It seemed to fit well initially but slipped off within a short time. Tried to re-install several times but ended up not using this. Maybe could be used on very thin and extremely smooth material, but didn't work for me.

A bit too flimsy to stay in place, might need glue/tape which is not provided with the item.
