I thought this was such a genius tool as a replacement for tongs for flipping and turning in a pan, but like another reviewer mentioned the tines are stiff and inflexible. Because of this and their thickness they don’t maneuver food well and end up pushing it around in the pan instead.

This silicon fork was actually a pretty good buy. I never actually had anything like this to use on the stove and this works fantastic if you love to make a lot of pasta. It does a great job against the heat, it's really sturdy and it's super easy to clean being that it's silicone. I haven't had any issues with it yet and I've had it for a couple months now. Would definitely recommend for anyone utilizing anything with pasta or some type of mashed foods.

Sturdy cooking fork that will not scratch nonstick cookware and can take the heat. The tines are slightly curved and have a soft tip that still allows for flipping. Ideally, the spaces between the tines would be a little narrower to make the flipping of some foods easier, but using two of these forks (so one holds food in place and the other flips it) solves the problem. They do not retain odor and are really easy to clean.

I bought two of these long sturdy silicone forks to shred pulled pork and other meats that I cook in the crock-pot. My slow cooker is non-stick, so I can't use metal. Taking the meat out to shred was inconvenient. With two of these forks, they are long enough to conveniently reach the bottom of the pot and shred meat without scratching the pot. They are wide enough to get the job done quickly and can also substitute for a slotted spoon in some circumstances.They appear to be silicone coating on a metal core. The forks are very sturdy. The silicone feels like is it fairly thick and should last a long time. I haven't used it any extremely hot environments, but I think this will survive anywhere other silicone utensils work.

I have been looking for some big forks like this for a long time. I use them for stir tying veg etc in the wok. They are smashing.
