This review is for the ROYALAY Side Sleeper Pillow with Arm Hole for Adults, Memory Foam Pillow for Neck and Shoulder with a Removable Pillow, Large U-Shaped Shoulder Pillow, Wedge Pillow for Acid Reflux Relief. This pillow looked great and could be right for some people but not for me. First it is ONLY for left side sleepers as the hole for the arm becomes an indentation for the right arm if you flip it to try and sleep on your right. I know it’s healthier to sleep on the left but I tend to toss and turn from left to right and it also depends on which side hurts more.Second the memory foam is very firm and the pillow is too tall for me and puts my neck at an angle regardless of if I’m on my side or back. For reference I’m 5’3”, 115 lbs with slightly narrow shoulders. The smaller pillow I actually took off and used between my knees.I didn’t see any pain relief because of the uncomfortable height. I did notice it didn’t get too warm so that was nice. Because it’s so firm it does retain its shape well. This pillow’s $37 price wouldn’t be an issue for me if I could use it. I’ve paid more for a good side sleeping pillow. Sadly I’ll be passing this one on.

My pictures look a bit different as I use men's sleep pants for an added pillow cover. They work perfectly and don't interfere with the functional aspects of the pillow. I admit I have tried at least 20 pillows of all types and sizes trying to find one that is perfect when you have sore shoulders,, yet keep your back and neck comfortable too. This pillow is actually ONLY made for left side sleepers as your arm goes under the whole in the long arm of the pillow which ends up on the left side. Hey, maybe you could use a hole on the bottom of both the left and right sides, so people who sleep on either or both sides can adjust the pillow accordingly.I am able to use the pillow now, while I lay on my left side only as my arm is able to go through the whole and the pressure is taken off my left side to the point it doesn't hurt nearly as much when I sleep with this particular pillow. The problem is when you need to move a bit, you can't use it to lay on your back as the pillow is too stiff and it feels like your chin is being pressed into your chest. Imagine putting the extra pillio on top of that one, it would make your head way too high! Can't lay on the right side at ll as there are no holes to stick anything through. They definitely have the right design in mind, but keep going and add longer sides, cut out the bottom on each side, then cut just a small area where the head goes and completely ditch the small pillow.

Not for right side at all. Foam has no read gradation and very little give. Great to read on of resting sideways but not as good as other side sleeping pillows out there. Quality is sturdy and good. Just not as advertised for both sides & doesn’t compress enough.

Bought this as a Christmas gift only to find out once it was out of the vacuum sealed package it wasn't for left side sleepers even though it clearly states in the description and shows in pictures that it is suitable for left side sleepers.

My wife suffers from shoulder pain and she has trouble sleeping on her side without waking up sore and stiff. This pillow solved her problem! She no longer hurts in the morning upon awakening. It is a bit small but it really gets the job done.

This pillow frustrates me, it could be the best pillow ever, it comes really close to it, but the flaws make it hard to sleep on it. At first, laying down on it with my arm tucked away in the hole I thought I was going to immediately fall asleep, but then I realized you get completely trapped by the pillow. You can't really shift around because it is so tight around your shoulders and the arm. Also the memory foam starts nice and firm, but definitely just starts to flatten and sink, and the pillow just kinda smashes you, which is really frustrating.I think this would be a great pillow for a smaller kid, I am not large by any means (I am 5ft and fairly slim) but it is too small for me, but I imagine I would have thought this was the perfect pillow back when I was ten.

I am a left side sleeper, and the pressure on the left arm and shoulder joint is concerning.So. Thought I would try this pad pillow. It didn't solve the actual arm position problem. But the pillow gave me options to sleep on my side.I lean on it. Into it. This takes some weight off my upper body. The two arms of this help support my torso. My head is supported at shoulder level. Etc. I use it constantly.I occasionally use the tunnel for the left arm, but that means sleeping more on my back. The cushion is just the right density, and the white fabric cover is luxurious. The zipper is invisible mostly. I have not tried removing the cover to wash it. And imagine it might be a struggle getting the case to cover the foam again. And I spend a lot of time trying to design a system to take pressure off the under arm. Digging a hole in the mattress seems to be what might work. The small head pillow, additional, is lovely but have not used it.
