As coffee sticks these are pretty sad, very thin, in such if had sugar in coffee stick is very likely to just bend. I got these for crafts, making miniatures, in which they are absolutely perfect for. A little peicey for what you get, but overall i am happy with them. They are pretty straight, not many broken ones or bent ones.

These are great stir sticks, nice and sturdy. Sturdy enough that you can even use them for chopsticks if somebody forgets your utensils while ordering takeout. You may also be able to use them to build mini fortresses, if you’re into that. just don’t let your kids get them, or they might glue them together and start sword fighting with them. That’s how sturdy they are. Especially don’t let your wife see the kids do this. I found it strange there was a rating for flavor, but I tasted them and gave them five stars. Best stir sticks I’ve ever tasted.Anyways, they are stir sticks. That’s all, they work great. ;)

These are absolutely fine for liquids. I have ordered these several times now and while I may find a small number of less than perfect ones, 99% or more, are just fine for use. Anyone that complains about how thin they are is either trying to stir milkshakes or has unrealistic expectations. These are a thin piece of bamboo, meant for stirring things like coffee and tea. They are disposable and biodegradable so you do not need to worry about contributing to the plastic pollution now covering the world. Because they are bamboo, you can also burn them without releasing toxins. Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants making it one of the best renewable sources. Is it possible you might have some imperfect ones in your box? Sure, but c'mon, look at the price, the are INEXPENSIVE. What do you expect? Gold plated, diamond crusted, robotized, automatic stir sticks that anticipate your needs? Just sayin'....

Even though I don't think they're a great quality product, I will continue to order and use these, as they keep me from using utensils to stir my coffee.Yes, there are some defective stir sticks, but not enough for this to be a concern. They don't feel very sturdy. But, the 'quality' stir sticks are 3-5X the price for the same quantity.I have a simple solution: I use 2 sticks when stirring my coffee most of the time. This resolves the sturdiness and one box will still last months. If there were high quality stir sticks which cost a few dollars more, I might switch, but until then, I will continue to use these, as I have been for the last 2 years.

These were a great replacement for the coffee stirrers we were using. They're not as sturdy as the ones you'd get at a coffee house, like Starbucks. But really, do they need to be? These are for stirring minimally-viscous liquids, not mixing a cake. They're plenty sturdy for my at home needs. They are eco-friendly, which I love. They're biodegradable and renewable. These are also hardy enough to stand up to being left in a hot beverage without dissolving (like the plant-fiber or paper versions). Would buy again.

For stirring coffee and other beverages, these are perfect. These mix instant cocoa better than the plastic stir sticks. Mine are of uniform size and color. I did see one broken one, but five bucks for thousand is a great deal.I have read some complaints and experimented. This sticks do not mix epoxy well. They are useless for applying roofing tar. I have spread peanut butter with one, but do not recommend it. They are too short for a useful backscratcher. They are too thin for a dog toy. BUT, these coffee stirrers are great for ........stirring coffee.

What a great deal! We have been using these for our coffee and tea. We find it easiest to put them in a jar near our coffee maker for quicker access. Before I purchased these we were using the plastic coffee stirrers that you can reuse and it was a pain in the butt to have to wash them so five dollars for 1000 of these is not bad at all. They are very thin pieces of wood so you do have to be careful when handling them because they can sometimes break if you're rough with them. We purchase these months ago and, even with daily use between the both of us, we still have not run out of these! We will most definitely be restocking up on these when we run out.

These seem to be decent stirrirs and $5 for 1000 shipped is a great deal. The only thing for me, probably my own fault but something people should make sure of before ordering this, is that these stirrers are shorter than what I'm used to. They are fine for a smaller cup of coffee, say a 8 or 12oz cup. Even if you have a larger cup like I do, it might do if you don't use a sweetener or other things like cinnamon. I say this because for a cup that holds 20 oz or more at the very least, these will not reach the bottom without you actually submerging your fingers in the liquid, so if you want to try to get the best chance of dissolving your sweetener, cinnomon, etc., into your drink, you'll need to either used a smaller cup or forgo these stirrers...
