I bought this rower for my home gym. It is a nice size rower, fairly light, easy to put together and move around. This rower does not fold up, but can be set on end for better storage. As nice as it is to have 16 resistance settings, it is not a very strong resistance at the highest level. For reference, I am female, 5' 3" and 105 lbs, so best for a beginner as it has very light resistance even for a smaller framed individual like me. If you are looking to use it for cardio this would be a good option, both for quality and price. If you want a rower to work your muscles more effectively, go with a different rower. Otherwise, great product!

At first I was disappointed in the purchase. I chose this rower because it was cheap, light weight, and had good reviews. Unboxing, it was well made for the price, securely packaged, assembly was easy. But I immediately noticed a big problem, the resistance was way too low, even for me. I'm completely out of shape, just starting to move around again after 5 months of foot injury and associated general atrophy, 40 years old, rowing novice, and I had to turn it up to maximum right away. It was still too low. I expected to be sweating and huffing on my first workout, instead even at maximum setting, it was comparable to going for a walk. A slow jog would be more significantly more intense. I began to feel like I just acquired a large piece of junk.Luckily, ADDING RESISTSANCE BANDS saved the day. Using resistance bands, I am able to increase the resistance up to an acceptable level, and lean into the stroke a bit. Simply looping a resistance band through the front support bar and then over the rower handles works well enough. It's not perfect, but it definitely works. If not for that I would have needed to return it.If you are looking for the classic rowing experience with a flywheel that increases resistance the faster you row, and leaning back into a full length stroke. This is not that, not at all. This is like pulling on a static 10 pound weight over and over again. No matter how many reps you do or how fast you do it, it's only going to raise your heart rate so much, I'd estimate it took me from 75 to 100 bpm.Maybe it would work out-of-the-box for people who weigh 100 pounds or less. Or if you're looking for this low-intensity, longer duration cardio style. It's just not what I was looking for. I wanted something where I could start at low or medium resistance, and work my way up to doing intense cardio workouts, 150+ bpm, while staying low impact on my joints.Other thoughts. At the front of my stroke, I want to be able to get a few inches closer to the flywheel, but the seat runs out of track (it runs into a knob that stops it). Minor nag, could potentially be fixed with a modification that extends out the foot rests further. The display screen is fine, has time, rep counter, turns off automatically. Upright position is stable for low profile storage (the heavy flywheel at the bottom makes a solid base) and has some cheapo track wheels so you can wheel it around on hard floors. With the addition of resistance bands I'm satisfied with the purchase. Still giving it 4 stars for this major design oversight. Without the bands, it would be 2 stars, borderline junk. But with the bands, it will do exactly what I had hoped for. Bands are cheap and it's an easy fix, fairly natural loop position, so 4 stars.

I recently purchased the Magnetic/Water Rowing Machine and it has been an absolute game-changer for my fitness routine. The machine boasts a seamless blend of magnetic and water resistance, providing a smooth and natural rowing experience. One of the standout features is the 16 resistance levels. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rower, these levels offer a wide range of intensity options to match your fitness goals. The build quality is top-notch, supporting up to 350 lbs, which speaks to its durability and stability. The LCD monitor is user-friendly and displays all the vital stats like distance, time, and calories burned, making it easier to track progress. Another aspect I love is the comfortable seat cushion; it's well-designed and provides excellent support during long rowing sessions. What's more, this rower is foldable! It's perfect for home use as it doesn't take up much space. Setting it up was a breeze, and it's just as easy to fold. This rowing machine is a perfect blend of functionality, comfort, and convenience.
