Very heavy. Looks way cool. Cup is deep and the rim is slightly larger than a PT88. There is a taper that goes into the lead pipe. One to addd to your collection.

Especially for my younger band students, I'm really not picky on tuba mouthpieces. The limiting factor is usually their air, and the mouthpiece doesn't make much of a difference, as long as it fits their face. Because of that, I'm good with finding a bargain mouthpiece and saving the $$ for later when the student is more discerning about their sound.This feels similar to my 24AW (different brands use different numbering systems). I am a trombonist/band teacher, not a professional tubist, so a professional may be able to tell a big difference, but I can't.Very smooth and evenly applied finish. The ribbed look is a bit odd to me, but it's clearly shown enough that if you like that look, you won't be disappointed.
