Review according to my 11 year old son who’s playing tuba in band: He loves it, for the price it’s a very nice mouthpiece, durable, sounds good and easy to use. When he tried out for tuba they mentioned the need to purchase a mouthpiece and they are about $100 so when I found this and read the reviews we went for it and are very happy with that decision.

This mouthpiece is just like the standard brand mouthpiece it replaces in looks, quality and playability.

Daughter had a chance to try out several mouthpieces on loan from the school while waiting for her rental tuba to be ready. When it came in, I asked her which was her favorite, and it was this one by a long shot, which is nice because it's about $40 cheaper than the helleberg, and got strong reviews here from more seasoned musicians.Fast Shipping - I ordered it the day her tuba came home, telling her it may be up to a week and a half before it would come in according to the shipping information. That was a Wednesday. It arrived on Saturday.Product - Daughter has been using it for a week and loves it. The product is exactly as the one she'd tried out, and she's had only good things to say. She's been playing tuba for about 3 months, and I've never played a brass instrument, so this is an amateur's assessment, but for all we can tell it's an excellent investment.

Great all around mouthpiece. I play a sousaphone in a street band, and this is my default mpc. If I need to get louder I use a 24AW. Those two are all i use. But the Blessing 18 is my go-to mouthpiece, and I have a few very expensive fancy ones!

So says my daughter's band teacher. My daughter loves playing the tuba and the gentleman at the music store said that Blessing was the best. He also let it slip that amazon had them for twenty dollars cheaper than his store, so to amazon I went. My daughter loves her band and I am going to be one of those people who buys EVERYTHING TUBA, so get ready!
