I ordered this to go on my kitchen table but once it arrived, decided to put it on an outside table instead. It is nice and thick and protects the table perfectly.

The mat is delivered in a long box, wrapped around a tube. Already you know this is meant to offer protection and is going to be substantial enough to inspire confidence. It has not disappointed. I especially like this mat because it offers a choice of gray or a tan/brown side. Since our table is teak and carpeting gray, it's nice to have an option on any given day! It also compliments the wood nicely! It doesn't look like some cheap, at all, which is what I always worry about when trying to balance protection with appearance.It's nice quality. There is a slight texture to the surface which is appealing and easy to wipe clean. Not too thin, not too thick. I would still use pot holders or trivets on the table for anything hot to the touch. Not sure how the material will do with anything too hot. I would not want to try it anyway. If it's that hot, it should be on the stove. . . .but for every day use to protect your table, this is a top rated choice.

Rolled out nicely after delivery, lays flat, stays in place, makes my tabletop smooth & protects it from moisture. Tablecloths stay in place on top of it better, as well! Great solution!

I have one of those tables that just seems....sticky? Even though it's not, my tablecloths always stick to the table. I love this because it has a barrier between the table and a cloth if you choose to use one. Also keeps my nephew from leaving his handwriting imprinted in the table!

I ordered this item thinking it was white- somehow the description changed after receiving the item and the white one was not available anymore... Decided to keep it as it is good quality and serves the purpose of covering my round wooden table. The beige color is pretty light, matching well with my natural wood color table and white kitchen chairs.
