These padded, protective copper sheets (a set of two) seem to do the job of protecting our stone countertops. We have only had them a short time; "so far, so good!" They came delivered in a study cardboard carton yet still had some warping, so here's what I did: For the one with the upturned corner, I carefully placed a 3/4 full, gallon-size bottle of water on the upturned edge to flatten it out. For the one that was a bit wavy or warped in the middle, I placed it (in its cellophane wrapper) on our floor with a rug. Then I carefully stepped on it and moved / pressed my feet on it slowly & gently, a few times. (I weigh 100 lbs.) This helped flatten out the wavy areas. The bright copper color blends well enough with our counter, and the price was fair, all things considered. One mat accommodates our toaster and our coffee maker.

So I feed my cat on my desktop because we also have dogs. I just wanted something underneath the cat dish to protect the desk. These come in a two pack and are absolutely gorgeous. Now I can set any hot or cold drink down or my plant can leak and it’s absolutely no problem, I’m sure you can think of many uses other than just to set a hot dish on them.

These mats work great to set hot items on. The surface underneath remains cool. The size is practical for standard residential baking sheets. The items are also very attractive. Great for a copper anniversary gift if cooling space is an issue for your spouse 7 years into your marriage.

Very happy with this product! I ordered two large ones which were a perfect size to sit on my counter top. The copper color looks great! I have had these for over six months now, and use them everytime I cook. They work exactly as stated, non skid, easy to wipe off, and they protect my laminated counter top from anything hot sitting on top of it. You can actually put any hot pan or dish right from the oven on top of the mat without the heat touching the countertop. Thank you for a great product!

Sturdy and works very well for a room coffee set up. The colour is very a very satisfying copper tone and the texture is tasteful.The metal also handles weight well without buckling because it sits underneath a flair espresso press. Very good value.
