These people never heard of a regular nut and a lock washer that can be spun down and then tightened, And apparently none has heard of a integral flange nut that doesn't need a washer like the OEM automotive nuts. But likely they have and Likely it's a pennies-per-unit-spinching move for them & labor intensifying for me, decision. I don't appreciate it. I'm faced with turning these sobs down a half a turn of time as my wrench fits because I don't have a deep well socket big enough,or going to buy a deep well socket, Which still requires a half a turn at a time before I ratchet back, which then bottoms out, at which point I still have to turn them down by hand because the deep well socket isn't deep enough, or buying normal nuts and lock washers that I can spin down all the way by hand and just tighten up with my tools.One star because I don't appreciate having the having plenty of tools and still having to get more or buy different nuts to make this purchase work aka so I don't spend 3/4 of a day tightening down from the top eight FINE THREAD lock nuts.

Ordered the wrong ones because i was not sure if measurements were exact, theres only 4” of thread so if it says 9.5” its perfectly the 9.5” they do not count the bottom 9/16” round over its perfectly the 9.5” of clearance for whatever you are installing 4” of bolt thread and also keep in mind the bolts need about 3/4” of space to thread in so that reduces the 9.5” to 8.75” of exact clearance.Also quality is great looks very heavy duty.

These are U bolts, they do U bolt things. Worked for my e150 to do the tow springs, had to cut them a bit since they were a tad long but thats on me not the bolts.

Wanted to lower my 2000 Ford Explorer 2 inches and needed new u bolts for the rear. Trying to find ones that would work is difficult being 3.25 in diameter. Decided to try these out and they work, with one caveat, you'll have to drill out the lower plates to 9/16 holes to fit them.
