The reamer shank bent on first use. The item is directly from their own Amazon store. Amazon sends you to rough country for support and they will not help because they “don’t have an order number” directly through rough country. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else. There are other companies that sell and support these reamers.

I have a big drill. Glad i did. Im not sure a cheap drill could handle it. I used mobil 1 cutting oil on the bit. Was kind of hard to do but all went good. Take your time when it gets close to correct dept.

Unfortunate that this toll does not come with the steering kit it’s mainly for. Works great for its intended purpose, just take your time using the tool so you don’t break it.

Bought this to ream out some 7° inserts I bought for the TRE flip project on my 96 f150. I bought JK inserts that were the correct pitch but wrong diameter. Used this reamer to open them up to fit which worked beautifully without taking too much material. The new inserts are steel opposed to the knuckle which is cast iron, so I was a little concerned it would dull prematurely. However it worked flawlessly and the reamer is ready for the next project should I need it.

cut through knuckles ok but couldnt cut through pitman arm. the pitman arm was a 6 inch drop arm, not sure if made out of harder metal or not but that shouldnt matter, if you are installing HD steering chances are you are lifted more than 6 inch. ended up having to buy a regular ream from a discount store, ream it most of the way with that, (regular ream cut through pitman arm just fine) then adjust the taper with a dremel, then do the final pass with the 7 degree ream.. turned a simple install into a full day never heard of RC reams being poor quality but it seemed like it this time, i do have an extensive automotive background and know drilling holes and reaming
