Great canteen light weight aluminum cup & pot for cooking in an emergency situation or for hiking. With this light weight canteen aluminum cup & pot you could cook a can a beef ravioli, chicken noodle soup or ramen noodles, etc. I've heard it holds it's shape well while cooking. Great option for boilling water for purification as well. Weighs 0.32oz. titanium pots weigh 3oz and still cause a bulg in your back pack. Great option for a bug out bag. Or t use on a wood burning stove for cooking when theirs a black out situation or for a bug out emergency situation. Fit's a standard gi plastic canteen. Great product and highly recommend!! Extremely light weight and tough. Excellent for a bug out bag when needing too cook use this canteen cup/pot

I learned to love my canteen cup in the army. This cup will meet my needs, occasionally use for hiking and heating water, but I doubt it will hold up to regular use like the old GI cup did.

Due to feet and back problems from the military and needing to reduce pack weight, I wanted to replace my heavy stainless steel USGI Canteen Cup with something lighter that didn't cost a fortune. This fit the bill. It only weighs 4.4oz and nests with a Mil-Spec USGI Canteen.I also found that the Rothco canteen cup lid also works with it. It's not a perfect fit (a little tight), but works well enough. The butterfly handles are a little short, but they also make the cup lighter, which is a plus for me.The USGI Canteen Cup Stove does not nest with the cup unfortunately. Instead, I carry an Emberlit Titanium FireAnt Stove (Made in the USA and sold here on Amazon) which is just as light and is far more versatile. It packs down completely flat and fits neatly inside my canteen cup carrying case.Overall, highly recommended if you want a superlight yet super affordable canteen cup that will nest with your GI Canteen.

It says it is a GI style canteen cup. It is made out of cheap aluminum so it is okay if you don’t want to drink hot drinks from it. It absorbs heat from the hot fluid, cooling the liquid and heating the cup so that it is impossible or at least uncomfortable to drink from. It also absorbs cold from cold drinks warming them faster. The handle is not up to par either, it about half the size of a real GI cup. BUT, I knew it was not really up to par and was expecting this. What I was not expecting was the short handle. The cup still makes a good pot to heat water or anything else that may need warming, or cooking. It holds enough for two cups of coffee or nearly a quart of stew or soup. It is also good for drinking water since nobody I know drinks hot water. Just be careful if you use it as a pot the handle is short and heats up easily and can be uncomfortable to hold.

Much lighter then the steel version. Have troubles finding perfect matching/ fitting windscreen stove. Fits a little loosely on aluminum canteen. Havnt found an aluminum lid for it yet either. Using steel lid for now.

Nice quality. Standard military cantine fits just right and it also fits well in cantine poutch. Looking forward to my next camping trip.

I think the cup is a little (about 1/4") too big so the can just rattles around in the cup. I got the matching set so you'd expect better fit. Otherwise, it'll do the job and the set is nice and light.
