I bought the 25 foot version of this for two important reasons.First: I am about to start a roofing upgrade project with my almost 13-year-old son. I want to make sure that he can just barely reach the edge of the roof, which my planned tie-in points will achieve (as a fixed maximum limit) vs the 2x loger rope I use.He first needs to become used to adjusting the position of the traveller and thus the effective length of the safety rope. In the worst case scenario, he might fall a foot or three. With a longer safety rope like mine, if he were to forget to move the traveller and the rope is "long," a fall could reach the ground. Not good.Second: this rope (orange and black) provides a strong contrast with my rope (yellow and black). The contrast makes it simple to see which is the rope to which one is attached. This can make it significantly easier to manage one's own rope and not accidentally pull on the partner's, greatly enhancing safety.I was pleased to find the rope and hardware in this package are just as strong as the longer rope I bought earlier this year for two other projects at "dangerous" heights.

At 14mm, this rope is very robust. It feels sturdy and well made and has test reports included. The grab snap hooks make attaching and detaching quick and easy. They’re heavy and secure, ensuring the harness stays in place while allowing for smooth adjustments when needed. The integrated shock absorber is also great, providing an extra layer of protection by reducing the impact force in case of a fall.

Upon visual inspection it appears to be well made with quality materials and straight forward design. Although I hope I never get in a situation where I rely on my safety equipment, this one seems like it will work if I ever needed it.

I used it to paint the facia on soffit around my house. I had to walk on the roof on some parts and needed to use two hands to work
