I bought this printer bc it was just a tiny bit more money than buying replacement ink for my inkjet printer. I don’t print much & if I do it’s usually documents so a big bulky printer taking up space & expensive ink led me to downsizing. I looked at many thermal printers & read all the reviews, just as many negative reviews as positive ones in the same printers so it really was a crapshoot. Very happy w/my choice!SoPrint app was easy to locate & download. Turned on bluetooth & when opened app it located printer. Lotsa options on what format to be printed, made choice & brought me to the app w/the docs. I printed my tax return & was planning what I would put the paper under to flatten bc it was sure to come out rolled & unable to lay flat based on many reviews of many thermal printers. Also planned to cut bc it was 2 pages & would print 1 continuous sheet, again based on reviews. Wrong on both counts! Happily wrong! Page 1 printed & printer paused, app told me to remove page & click to resume page 2. Both sheets came out flat & easy to read. There is an option to adjust print darkness but I kept mine on the preset & was perfect.Great printer, so very happy w/my purchase. My only complaint would be that there is no indication anywhere (listing here, website, in box directions) of the paper supplied. Would like to be able to purchase this brand since I know this paper works well & come out flat.

This printer is worthless, you can never connect to the app, instead installed it an un-installed several times and never works. I send couples of emails to support team and they never answered. If I had the opportunity the rate them with only a quarter of star I will do it.

I LOVE this printer. I have a Canon printer hooked up to my desktop that I had been using, but it started glitching and wasting paper. I discovered the Rongta and haven't looked back. It works perfectly with my phone, and printing documents is seamless and so easy. I have been using roller paper, although it was advertised as a bundle with flat paper, which I found not only inconvenient, but it also didn't even fit the printer! Not having to worry about buying printer ink is HUGE plus and the fact that the printer is small enough to carry around with you makes this so much value for the money. I highly recommend this printer!

Finally I found a printer that works ...is easy to use and no ink that's going to dry up...Ive bought expensive printers with all the colored inks and they never last...this printer is awesome...it is black and white that's all I need for paperwork anyway so its perfect

I purchased the A4 portable printer for my on the go work life and to be able to print invoices and estimates in the field. This printer really delivers, it is easy to use, prints quickly, great quality, long battery life and all wrapped up in a small package.Pros-quality-Ease of use-Speed of printing-design of productCons-Weight, product is a little Hefty-Price of paper, the thermal paper is quite pricy

This printer is perfect for printing invoices. It has a clear print and prints quickly. It was easy to set up and I like its runs by Bluetooth and an app. The only thing I thought it was going to use regular paper and it doesn’t (that’s why I have it 4 stars) I should have read that but must have overlooked it.

This inkless portable printer delivers exactly what it promises, and I’m thoroughly impressed. While it doesn’t match the quality of a full-size table printer, it performs exceptionally well for a portable device. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and incredibly practical for on-the-go printing. It has already come to my rescue in a few tight spots, proving to be a handy and reliable tool. If portability and convenience are what you need, this is a fantastic product to have on hand. Highly recommend!

Great little printer. I love how light and small it is, which makes it easy to use compared to bulky printers. It's so fast and easy to set it up - you can start printing in a few minutes after opening the box. It's also fast at printing and it produces good quality prints with great clarity. The fact that it can be charged and used wirelessly for a long time is a huge plus. Makes it convenient to use on the go, to travel with it, have in the car etc. It's way better than traditional printers, other than the fact it only prints in black.

I usually bring this item to school with me when I need to print out any school documents, notes, any other important details I may need during class. Sometimes use this if I need to share notes with other students in the class. Very mobile, isn’t too heavy to carry in my backpack, works well, printing quality is great, no smudging. Battery life is strong even on a full days use during classes. Connects well to the mobile app where I can easily send my documents and print quickly. Very happy with this find, would recommend!!

This printer did really well as my mobile and every day printer.What stood out to me was how legible my text was. I found it provided a very bold and dark text that was easy to read and almost popped right off the page.I was happy to note that even on the cold start up, the printer did not rush my paper through. If it needed to heat up a bit it took its time, which then resulted in me having a nice clean and even print no matter if it was my first print of the day.This is something I always take note to as some do not do this and you end up wasting your very expensive thermal paper.The design was very compact and I could tuck it away in my backpack or at the back of the desk when not in use. There is some nice weight to it so its not going to go unnoticed when carrying it around.Finally the connection to my phone or laptop was easy and never had an issue with either reconnecting or keeping the connection that I already had.Overall its a great printer and something I can recommend, it did not waste any of my thermal paper, it printer quickly unless it needed to heat up, and its connection was solid and stable.

This thermal travel printer is a welcome alternative to ink printers, getting rid of those frustrating issues that come with inkjets. It's a nice size, a robust build, easy enough to use, and seems to be of pretty good quality all round. Not just for 'travel' either, I don't see any reason why it can't be used as a home printer, particularly if your printing needs are more low usage than constantly intensive.

It works when I connect it to my laptop via cable, but I just cannot get the Bluetooth to work. I’ve searched for help and couldn’t find any. So I can’t use it with my phone or wirelessly. Wah wah.

Purchased the Printer for use by field support team - the printer arrived quickly, and had everything we need to get started right out of the box - printer, paper, USB thumb Drive with printer drivers, step by step instructions - initially felt the printer was a little heavy, but with the solid battery life and solid build quality we felt this was a fair trade off. The set up with our windows based tablets was easy and quick . Also connected the unit to an iphone via bluetooth, to allow for printing from both devices, regardless of O/S being used - nice feature. The print quality is sharp and clean. We have tried other mobile printers and found the build quality of the Rongta unit to be superior and expect the unit to survive the rough environment our field support team will put it through.If you are seeking a mobile Thermal printer - you can't go wrong with this unit at a very reasonable price.
