Finally received after ordering for the second time as there was a problem with the first shipment.Now this.I can reorder and take my time to return.Very frustrated as this should not be this difficult.

Most of the one-star reviews here are for damaged shipping; they seem to have solved that problem by taping the can shut so it doesn’t open in transit. Mine arrived fine.HOWEVER, when I opened the can to use it, the product was separated - fluid on top and really thick paste below. Completely unusable as it was. I got a drill powered paint mixer and mixed it for nearly 30 min, which got it at least mixed, but still very lumpy. When applied to the wall, it left thick gobs and lumps everywhere.I diluted with some water, that got it a bit smoother, but still left little lumps all over. Ended up diluting way more than recommended just to get it to a usable consistency that could at least be painted or rolled on.Maybe I just got a bad batch or something, but as it was, this stuff was awful.

Paint arrived with the lid off ruing other items in my box. Please contact me as I cannot return the product as paint has dried and areas that does not allow me to reclose the lid. I need my money back and cannot return the product.

It says it’s zero VOC but I thought it smelled like death, and even with an N-95 mask on the entire time, I felt like the fumes were making me sick. Extremely strong and toxic smell. Not sure how that’s possible. Even after drying, it didn’t smell all that great but most of the smell faded after a few hours.Edit: it’s been 6 days and I let the room air out all day the first day with windows open and a fan, then applied the wallpaper the second day and then waited a few more days before sleeping in the room. I can still smell the awful smell of this primer, nowhere near as strong as when I was applying it (I was practically choking despite an N95 mask) but it’s definitely still there. I am sleeping with an air purifier hoping it can get rid of some of this toxic smell but it doesn’t seem likely if it’s still there after so many days. If you are sensitive to smells at all, I would not recommend this primer since it smells terrible and the scent does not go away completely. If I had known, I would’ve forgone the primer and just applied the wallpaper with the pro 880 paste straight onto my wall. The paste had no smell.

Used on new drywall in preparation for applying wallpaper. I didn't notice a smell. Applied easily with a small smooth roller. I also used the ROMAN PRO-838 paste to put up my wallpaper. Worked great!
