My absolute favorite rucking boots. I have wide and flat feet. So, I do need an insert but this works for me. I can wear all day with no issues.

Sturdy boot with good quality components, the only issue may be the sole wearing quickly on concrete, though this is not its intended purpose.

I needed a pair of comfortable boots to go with my uniform. These were an excellent choice! Very comfortable, light, and well worth the money!

These boots fit and feel great, highly recommend these boots! Will definitely buy again if needed. That said the laces aren’t awesome but are heavy duty.

I’m a land surveyor by trade. An average work week could have me from a dusty construction site, to climbing a 1500’ ridge in inclement weather (not fun). I’ve used boots and shoes from Keen, Merrel, Ariat , Muck, Danner, Salomon...you name it I’ve probably worn them out a time or two.I always come back to the S2V boots for two reasons:1. They hold up incredibly well, and they hold up consistently across different models and years purchased. If I had a nickel for every time something made nowadays has “gone down” in quality!2. The soles are pretty wide and flat, much more so than basically any other boot I’ve tried. I prefer this for a variety of reasons, but for me this makes for a much more comfortable boot to wear all day long. If you do not prefer a flat sole, these are NOT the boots for you. I’d recommend looking for sole inserts if you are set on these. My only advice to a would-be-buyer is that this particular model is a breathable, non-insulated, and non-waterproof model if you hadn’t gathered that from the product description yet. Best boots ever for hot weather. I pair these with another set of insulated goretex s2v for the cold months. if you’re looking for an all-weather, year-round boot this is absolutely not the one. These boots fit a niche for me perfectly, your mileage may very.

These boots fit my somewhat narrow too, and are both comfortable and protective at the same time.

The boots firt great and do not need any breaking in. The shoe laces as many have pointed out are really anoying but that is the only thing wrong with these boots.

I bought these shoes to replace my S2V RKC050 or the Special Ops as these appeared to be the lighter version. What a mistake. I'm in the Navy and love the design and look of these boots but they fit terrible Very uncomfortable after wearing these for a week solid. I have wide feet and these are still too narrow and are causing hot spots and pressure points on the outside of my feet. By lunch time my feet are aching in these and have to take them off. I bought the same size I wear for my running shoes and a wide version. They are the right length but not wide enough. They are also stiff despite being broken in and don't feel lighter compared to the S2V RK050 that I have ( Purchases about 3 months ago on base). Sizing is off on these and they need to widen the shoe box. Unfortunately I wore these outside so I can't return them but I'm done wearing these. I'm new to Rocky's and to be honest disappointed in the comfort of both of these shoes I purchased. The S2V RK050 are more comfortable than these shoes but still compared to my previous Danner's or Bate Lights very uncomfortable. I chose these because these were authorized for wear with the Navy Type III Uniform but for now on I'm going to buy a Danner Coyote and go for it.

Better than regular S2V. Have warm them for one year while deployed to Afghanistan. Runs small by close to one size. I wear a 14 wide and had to order these in a 15 wide. The toe box is fairly narrow. The only negative is the quality control. The tongue is not attached straight, causing it to bunch half way up. Plus the tongue is cut oddly and is too narrow in the area between the third and fourth eyes. causing the bunching to be even more of an issue. They have held up well through all kinds of terrain.
