I have worn combat boots almost everyday since '89; one reason is I have bad feet and trick ankles and boots help prevent my turning my ankles, so I not only wore them on the job, but during downtime periods (time off) too.I have tried countless brands at all price points. Typically, $100 or less assured a horrible quality boot that felt more like a sack tied onto my foot. I gambled with these boots based on the price and was literally shocked. They wear as comfortable as the most expensive brands, if not are the most comfortable I have ever worn. You know how good it feels when you slide you hand into a perfect fitting glove, one you know you will be able to work in and maintain dexterity, well these boots feel that way for your feet...a snug perfect fit with a heft of construction telling you they can handle punishment. Check my profile, I do not write 'Reviews,' and I am inly hurting myself, because the more Positive Reviews this brand gets, the higher the price will become. I am literally waiting for another sale like they offered at Christmas to order another two pair to shove in the closet as backup for when these wear out. Speaking of 'wearing out,' this is the only aspect that I cannot comment on yet as I have only had mine since before the holidays.I also wish they would offer a completely, boot and sole, variety of camouflage options, that would pair with a Ghillie suit well and save having to spray paint and old pair of boots to fill that need.

I have a 26.8cm long foot. Xpeti advised me to go with an 8.5 which seems to align with a lot of advice to size up 1/2 a size but I think a size 8 would have been better for a more snug fit in the toe-box length.Worth noting I have a wide front of foot - for reference I wear either a US 8 Wide for my Timberland Ultra Waterproof boots, a US 8 4E (super wide) in my Asics running shoes and a US 9 in my Keen Circadias. These Xpeti boots fit fine other than possibly being a touch long in the toes πThat said, I found the upper to be soft and flexible - as if they focused too much on making the boot comfortable so if you know about lacing then experiment with that to lock your foot in. I use a ladder lace with a double thread through the eyelets at the ankle to really snug in the fit. They feel good. Like, reeeeeeeeeally good. While there is some articulation at the toe-box, the sole in the mid to rear seems pretty solid. I'm guessing they have a solid shank in there. My only complaint is that in playing with the lacing, the end cap of the lacing came off so now I need to buy some new laces as double threading at the ankle is impossible with a frayed lace.Time will tell how well the rest of the boots hold up.I notice that the boots do feel warm, despite being a Goretex-type fabric with leather reinforcing. But my body tends to run warm.Otherwise, I've gotta say I'm pretty impressed with these. They're between half to a quarter the price of other brands so I'll be buying more Xpeti, for sure πππ

So first off these boots are very lightweight and I would get a half size bigger. They fit snug but to be honest are the most comfortable boots I've ever wore. They almost feel like orthopedic shoes. Cushion in every area. You literally could sleep in them. But don't lace them up yo tight. They fit like a glove and I still haven't broke mine in yet. I think these are winter type boots. Your feet won't get cold at all. If anything they will get warm. They dont make your feet sweat at all which is weird. I dont think I could wear these in the summer months. Maybe if they were broke in. It was -25 f and my feet were nice and toasty. I will most likely get a different pair for summer. I at this point will probably only buy xpeti from here on out. For the price your gwtting better than military grade. Far better. Their tough and flexible at the same time. So tough it may take a while to break in. The high sides are extremely supportive. I've showed many people and they have bought them based on my reviews. I have winter boots but these are warmer and way lighter. They are waterproof but I dont know if ide wade in a creek. Haven't tried yet. Just get them and you will never buy another brand again. If its for warm weather. Maybe get one with a less insulated liner.
