well built and sturdy. Only complaint is the bottom gets a little sore after some time. There are more expensive thrones that provide more padding but this is a good value for the money.Or maybe I just have too much bottom!

Not comfortable at all... and too small. May be good for a beginner child.

We picked this stool up to use as while playing guitar and brass instruments. Its adjustability makes it a fit for everyone from our 6-year-old on up. It's sturdy enough that I believe it will last many years. The fact that it folds up makes it very portable. For our use, the seat works well but it does loosen up easily. If I was actually using this as a drummer, I would try to figure out how to keep the seat from wobbling. The cushion is a bit thin, too, but for the younger ones, it's not noticeable. I can only sit on it for 30 minutes at a time before I have to stand up.Overall, for the price, this is an excellent addition to our music room.

This seems to be well-built, and it's comfortable to site on... however, regardless of how tightly I tighten the knob that attaches the seat to the post, about 1/2 the time that I pick it up to move it, the top comes off.Be wary of "adjusting" placement without looking, you may be sitting directly on the post ;)I'd have given it 4 stars if not for this issue,

As a first purchase this throne is great. The price was excellent compared to others; it is sturdy for a 195 pound person though the padding could be thicker or more dense; and it easily folds for travel in the car. Perfect for a beginner.

My 14 yr old musician just got his first kit and I wanted to get him a stool but not break the bank. This does just that. With its polished chrome stand and sturdy feet, it looks way more expensive. The cushion could use an extra layer, but that's Dad's big ole' butt vs. my kids. He wins. Dad approved!

An inexpensive and well constructed stool. I use it in my home studio for laying down guitar tracks. To get swivel capability you must not tighten down the top but that means you cannot pick it up from the seat or it will come off. Swiveling is not as important to me as the ability to easily move the stool out of the way when not in use. I find I don't miss that swivel feature when I'm using it for guitar work. The assembly process is "stupid easy"! This perhaps may not be the best choice for a drummer who need to be able to easily swivel but for my needs it's perfect. The seat is much softer than some competing products. Takes up almost no room when not in use!

VERY STRONG!! Narrow leg distance, perfect for tight spaces. But certainly sturdy enough. Nice thick pad, great for long jam sesions. I am 6'2" 180 lbs. & it is strong enough, by a mile, to hold me. Plus, the adjustments are great. I can get it to fit me perfectly. Swivels on a dime. Smooth & effortless. Believe me, I looked long & hard & this is THE BEST your going to find for the money. I'm very glad I did!!
