I've been looking for a good sounding, rechargeable speaker and budget friendly. This speaker had all these requirements. It sounds great for my use and needs, it met my budget, plays for at least 6 hours on a single charge on 50% volume loudness. Usb drive playback, xlr and rca connections for mixer or microphone setup. FM radio. Bluetooth capabilities.Portable with rolling wheels and extendable handle. The best feature I enjoy is the easy battery replacement. This was the perfect speaker(s) for my family get togethers.

Since I purchased this I have used it to DJ an outdoor wedding ceremony, a 50 guest karaoke house party, a 150 person backyard graduation party, a 40 person pool party, a 100 guest wedding venue, a 80 guest anniversary party, and a surprise birthday party inside a restaurant. It has the easiest setup! The two mics work great, offer optional echo effects on both, have a decent wireless range. It is a little heavier, but very reasonable for a powered system. The sound is great and it offers a few input options including Bluetooth which has been amazing to utilize! For smaller gigs this has been the best purchase I have ever made! At my last party the power went out, but my system kept jamming, it was fantastic!!

Absolutely loved the portability and functionality of this speaker at a wedding I DJ’d. The bride and groom wanted their ceremony in a certain location where there was no electricity nearby and they didn’t want the hum of a generator (I’m aware they make quiet ones but that is What they requested). So looking for an option to handle a 30-45 min ceremony, this came up as a viable option when I saw it was battery powered (with the option to run a backup 12V battery), provided two microphones, and a mixer built in the back. The speaker performed flawlessly, except for when the iPad I used connected via Bluetooth. It was a little spotty but thanks to the audio cable I had, I could hardwire the iPad in and experienced no issues. That is Another thing about this speaker that was Great…. It had enough inputs for me that I could run an iPad for ceremonial songs AND still use the microphones for the pastor. It is somewhat heavy and for the size of the speaker, a bit bulky…but it comes with roller wheels and a handle which makes transportation of the speaker a breeze. This speaker met my expectations and handled my event no problem. It ALSO played Halloween music in the neighborhood and borderline full blast for about 2.5 hours! The only reason It didnt go longer was because we had no more trick or treaters going around! All In all, it was exactly what I needed to accomplish my gig and then some.

This is a very handy and decent unit. Connectivity, flexibility, and convenience come at the expense of sound quality. But you just have to realize that you can't have everything. I think you're getting about 50-watts output with this, which is enough I think for what it is. You will not hear a lot of bass and the mids are very muddy on my unit. I found that I can tweak the EQ enough to make it tolerable. But for the money, you're getting a pretty cool package with this Rockville. I considered buying a stand-alone powered PA speaker and separate wireless mic and receiver setup, but then I wouldn't have the ability to run on battery. I do see that Sony makes one, but that speaker costs more than this Rockville and I'd still need to add the wireless mics. I haven't had the need to run on battery yet, but I have tried it for a couple of hours at moderate volume just to see how it would work and it was good. It doesn't give you an idea of battery percentage, so I couldn't guess what the runtime might be.This is worth consideration as long as you're reasonable with your expectations. Another to look at might be the Harbinger RT100, but that lacks wireless mics.

After buying a similar model through another brand, I wish I would of bought this first. Speaker has phenomenal sound quality, once you dial in your levels to your listening preference. Battery is rock solid, I have charged it once about 2 months ago, and have used it for a good ten+ hours and still going strong with no low battery indicator. Microphones are the only thing that could be improved on but still good quality and durable, kids have dropped them a few times and held up to the punishment. Don’t waste your time on the novelty karaoke/pa speakers and get this you’ll be glad you spent the extra money up front.

Excellent 15" powered portable speaker with battery or plug in options. RCA, XLR, MP3, Blue Tooth, radio, wireless mics. Do not listen to the negative feedback. This speaker packs a powerful punch at this price range. No it's not EV, Mackie, or JBL but it's a solid running speaker for a single musician act or duo. You can use one or link more speakers. Many hookup connections or add a subwoofer, option to add a better UHF mic system or mixer for more options.
