I got this gift for my dad who’s a DJ. Absolutely loves the sound quality and it’s easy to move around because they are smaller, like a cube like speaker. My dad loves the base on these, and uses them almost every day.Just not a fan of the shipping, one came before the other but overall both received before Christmas and actually faster than I was told (actually over a week early)

I have them connected to a Musysic MU-P210FX mixer that puts out 300w/channel at 4 ohms. The bass from these speakers is pathetic. I should have read the specs more closely. A sensitivity of only 94db is not very good. Good speakers have sensitivity of 99 or 100db. That extra 5 or 6db nearly doubles the volume. If you like bass, these aren't the droids you're looking for.

Thought I'd take a chance on the Rockville Passive 15" subs. Had them hooked to a Rockville RPA9 which was a perfect match for these subs. Upon arrival, I hooked everything up and the subs played very low and distorted. They then started smoking and filled the room with burning electric smell. I then had a licensed electrician test the amp (had him doing other work at my house already) and he said the output of the amp was 30% less then its advertised. So if an amp is a match for those speakers, its underpowered and still cooks the subs...something is wrong! I told Audiosavings that I have a Crown XLS2500 amp hooked to other speakers and none of them ever made a smell like that. They told me I obviously hooked their subs up to the Crown an it was my fault for the damage. 1- the Crown is a dedicated amp running in wall speakers and had never been hooked up to Rockvilles. 2- I still have possession of the subs so how can they even make that statement? They haven't dissected or inspected them. These guys are crooks, liars, and thieves! They have a BBB rating of D-. I rolled the dice and lost big on these subs and this company. Never again though! Be warned, the prices are nice but you better pray you have no problems because you will just lose your money. By the time you pay for the shipping back and the "restocking fee" because it's now a "used product". I love Amazon but disappointed they back a company like this.

This is just what the doctor ordered to provide deep rich bass to my virtual organ setup. I needed subs that can go below 10Hz - and although these are very good down to about 15Hz which is good enough - getting affordable commercially made subs is near impossible for our organ world and the price is out of this world to get something that is small enough to fit in your living room is very difficult. This with Rockwell Amp is perfect. Right now I am just pairing it with a large group of passive speakers until I can afford Active speakers. - UPDATE 2023 - These speakers are wonderful and sound very unforced but allowing the deep base notes even down to 16 HZ or CCCC. Probably could go lower but I do not have any instruments that are pitched that low. It took me 4 more years to finally get live sound from my virtual organ and it was well worth the wait!

Items from this seller come from the West Coast so keep that in mind when ordering. They arrived on the last day of the delivery estimate given so they were "on time". I used them on the night received and powered them with a 200 watt RMS per channel amp. Took it easy on them to break them in (you should not max out speakers when you first use them). Used with a 120HZ low pass filter and they worked well. Filled in the bottom end. They are not $500 subs but definitely work well for the money.

I purchased these subs from Audiosavings, along with their Rockville RPG15 package deal, and I'm more than impressed! They are extremely portable and easy to handle. They are also very sturdy and well constructed. These subs are 400w rms each, but I'm powering them with 300w each and they still rattle your eyeballs, along with the whole house! They don't have an internal low pass filter, so you'll need to use a lowpass filter... either stand alone or if your amp has a lowpass built in. Otherwise, the speakers will handle too much mid-bass and will sound muddy. I recommend low-pass of 70 or 100hz. These things are excellent for the price and provide all the low-end I need to fully round out the tops I'm getting from the RPG15's. I highly recommend these to any dj on a budget, especially if you have an amp ready to go, or can get one cheaply. If not, maybe one of rockvilles powered subs. Based on the sound of these passive subs, I can only imagine that the powered ones sound just as good, if not better, due to being properly power matched to their internal amp and being higher wattage. I know that once I'm ready to purchase powered subs for my mobile rig, I'll definitely consider (and probably purchase) the Rockvilles. But for my immediate needs, and for the price, these subs can't be beat. They definitely give you that professional sub-bass sound with professional build quality at a bargain basement price.

I thought that I may have to replace the speakers at some point, (because they are cheap) But I don't think so now. they sound pretty nice after their brake in period. The boxes are made well, and look nice. many choices of inputs. The only thing I see, but isn't a big deal for me is, there is no internal padding. this must be where they cut a corner to bring the price down. that makes sense to me. most people that buy this sort of thing can do the padding themselves. but I'm not sure they need it anyway. A Good Set of Speakers, I like them. Thank You.
