I've had this for a little while now and have been using it for setting my router table, plunge router and table saw for a variety of projects. The learning curve part is figuring out how to use the thing. I was personally having a hard time figuring out how to get the proper measurements I needed to set my blades/bits because of the beveled view "window " on the ruler portion of the guage. Once I figured out how to read it, it became much easier. I really like this for setting up the blade and bit depths on my table saw and router table as well as the fences on them. It's really good on the router table fence because the notches on the guage line you up with the center of your bit. I'm less of a fan when using it on the plunge router though. It's not very easy to keep it lined up and adjust the plunge depths for a couple of reasons. One, the base of the router doesn't give the guage base a lot to sit on and two you need both hands to adjust the router and don't have a way of easily holding the guage as well. It works just not easily. Set up blocks work better for that. The guage seems really accurate, is well constructed and feels pretty durable. Like I said the beveled setting window takes a little bit of getting used to, but once you do isn't hard to read. Overall I am pretty happy with the product and will probably get a lot of use for it on my woodworking projects.

Works really well, especially great if you have the relatively cheap kobalt router/router table. Hard to trust that fence with 1/8 size dashes on the table.

The gage works quite well. 4 stars for having plastic as the base and the feeler gage. I realize it's a price control reason. I just think that any gage should be constructed out of metal.
