I can safely and securely with tension, bands, hold my rather heavy E bike with fat tires weigh about 100 pounds on the back of my F150 truck so it’s pretty good just takes a while to get the E bike on and then take it off and put it back in my to should I say about 25 to 30 minutes

This motorcycle hitch carrier with a loading ramp and gas can holder is beneficial because it makes transporting my motorcycle significantly easier by providing a convenient way to load and unload the bike using the ramp, while also offering extra storage space for a gas can, allowing me to carry additional fuel for extended rides without needing to take up space inside my vehicle.

I purchased this motorcycle carrier to use with my electric scooter and I honestly couldn't be happier with the product I received. Prior to my purchase, I had to load my scooter into the back of my truck by myself. I dreaded this every time and it was always a hassle I didn't want to have to deal with. Now I can simply load my scooter onto this carrier with ease. I no longer have to deal with loading my scooter up into the bed of my truck, and the carrier even comes with an included ramp which is a huge plus. The price point is very good for the product I received. 5 out of 5 stars - I highly recommend!

The Motorcycle Hitch Carrier by Rockland came a while back. My first impression is that it's too heavy! Should have been made of aluminum. Of course, to carry the heavier bikes, it must be strong. (But my bike is either a relatively light 125cc or an electric bicycle. Actually, this is too much trouble for the electric bicycle - scratch that.) And a product made from steel can probably be manufactured easier and cheaper than aluminum, but from the consumer's viewpoint, the dang thing has to be lifted and maneuvered each time you want to use it! Otherwise, if you leave it on your vehicle, you're wasting gas to haul it around when you aren't using it. And you're also walking around it when you exit the driver's door and have to go to the other side, like to scrap frost from windows. (Yeah, I could / should just go around the front of my SUV when applicable, but I keep on forgetting. - And I don't use it enough to remember for the next use day.) And the gas can holder is stupid (for me anyway.) A gas can may be bungee corded to the top of the ramp, or between the wheels of the bike. So leave it out when building the carrier. Also, I'm concerned my handlebars are too close to the back glass on my SUV. But maybe that's just my worrying nature? The ramp is kind of short, and makes loading my non-working motorcycle - a reason for this carrier, too difficult for 1 person. And Youtube is filled w/ examples of failed loading of bikes - don't want to be added to this list. BUT, I do have a 4 1/2 Grinder, a welder and scrap metal, so I suppose it could be modified (but you have to be handy.) If your vehicle to be carried is lighter, another possibility is using a short hitch extension. Overall, this just isn't meeting MY needs well. I didn't think it through. But it may be for you.

Strong heavy duty carrier with bonus gas can rack. Pretty easy to assemble. Unfortunately, one part for the gas can holder was missing. I had to accept a new item for the return, remove the part and send back. Luckily, Amazon delivery picked it up at my house so it was relatively easy to handle. Overall happy with the carrier for my bike.

If you have dirt bikes, or smaller CC engine motorcycles, then this would be perfect for you. Since it has a 500 pound limit, I wouldn't go trusting it with the heavier cruisers. My Harley is 850 pounds so there is no way I would use it for that, but for the kid's bikes there is no issue.It is easy to assemble and it fits snuggly into the truck's trailer hitch. Loading and unloading might be a little tricky depending on the rear of your vehicle. It is awfully close to the vehicle carrying the bikes so thee handlebars might scratch, dent, or otherwise damage your vehicle if not careful.

Worked well with our GROMs & Sur-Rons, not so much with KTM Adventure or FZ07.We managed to test with all five of our bikes. The smaller ones were able to get loaded with a single person. The big bikes were stymied by the short ramp and therefore extreme ramp angle, so required two people. Once strapped in, the unit seemed capable enough to carry any of them... the bigger bikes being 400+lbs.Two bikes blocked rear camera and the unit elongates the rear - backing up was an issue on one occasion.

I put my 100# electric bicycle on it one time and it bent right at the receiver . They claim it's good for 500# but it bent while going around a corner with a 100# bike on it
