does not work in my 3 Curt brand hitches so I reduced by one star, as the hitch pin hole is off by 1/8” or so as it hits the weld on the top plate before going in far enough to align the holes. I returned it no problem and bought the longer 9” version also by Feral & that worked great. Again very heavy duty for my purposes of dragging trailers and implements around the property.

Had bought the bolt on Feral hitch for 2002 Grizzly and used for years. Got this 2" slide in hitch immediately when I got a 2021 Kawasaki Teryx and it's been on ever since. Bolted on a ball and pull trailers around the house without worry.

This seems pretty sturdy for an ATV hitch. The plate is single piece construction as advertised, versus welded loops that can break off. It should hold up to anything an ATV is capable of towing, and it fits snugly in my ATV’s receiver.

I haven't had a chance to put this through it's paces yet, but just by looking at it, I think I'd twist the frame of my wheeler before I'd manage to break this thing. It looks really solid, and more than adequate for anything a wheeler would pull. The receiver material is a little thinner than what you'd find in a standard vehicle receiver, so while plenty strong for a wheeler, it's noticeably lighter than a heavy duty truck receiver, which is great. There isn't much room between the 2 holes, so I'd recommend a ball like the one in my pic, and mounted so the flats are to the front/back. That way there's a little extra room for swing of whatever implement you're attaching. A portable ice house tongue is what's in my pic, and was the initial purpose for this purchase, although I'm sure I'll use it for much more in the future. I used an extra 1/2" receiver pin from my car, and it's a small enough diameter to wobble in the hole just enough for the tongue to tilt over the snow, ramps, etc.For Christmas, I got a KFI snatch block, and a Smittybilt 1/2" bow shackle. The pin diameter of the shackle is a perfect fit in the accessory hole, as seen in the other pic. It should come in handy on the trail, for snatching or towing, etc., and will serve much better than just tossing a strap over the ball.As far as the hole spacing goes, if there were more room between the holes, then it would stand a good chance of bottoming out on a trailer frame. I hitched up the 5x8 utility trailer I haul my wheeler on so I could go park it, and there's just enough clearance between the receiver and the trailer frame, so any longer for more hole spacing, and there could be problems.I do kind of wish the plate were a little longer, and welded on further out, so the receiver could be mounted upside down for a little drop in ball height, but that might mean an even heavier plate, so I'm not sure if that would work or not. As it is, if the ball is mounted on the bottom, the ball is too close to the receiver bar for the trailer coupler to fit over the ball.Oh, and besides the decal and card, mine also came with a Feral pen! No biggie, but it was a nice touch!
