Product Description

High Level, Raw Power!

T1000-1bdCP

The Power T1000-1bdCP is a full size chassis, 1,000-Watt mono amplifier with Constant Power, built on Rockford Fosgate’s patented Class BD technology platform. Known for the ability to produce raw power at high levels, the Power series amplifiers have been the class standard by which all others are measured.

Featuring our patented Punch EQ, delivering more bass where you want it most by allowing up to 18dB of boost adjustment at 45Hz. Also featuring superior heat dissipation capabilities, with our award winning Dynamic Thermal Management cooling design and our MEHSA3 heat management technology, resulting in 20% reduction in thermal impedance. Plus, it also features our Focused Mass technology design, keeping the amp cool and ensuring the amp continues to play even under high power and output demand.

Our Constant Power technology, results in up to 25% more power (Watts) across all impedance loads, by balancing demand versus draw between the amp and speaker. The result is a listening experience cleaner, louder and more impressive than ever before.

Optimized exclusively for use with subwoofers, the T1000-1bdCP pumps out a heart-stopping Kilowatt, producing more than enough power to flaunt and feel your subwoofer system.

Upgraded to this as a sub amp in my system. Other users weren't kidding when they said this thing is a beast. Mine is wired in at 2 ohms running 2 JL Audio shallow mount 13.5" subs. It supposed to be a 1000 watt amp, but the birth sheet says it put out 1566 watts. Can't go wrong there. Rockford Fosgate FTW.

I had 2x 12" Rockford fosgate P3 subs, with 2x T1000-1bdCP amps, with 3 Farad rockford capacitor, optima red top battery, and the system sounded like I spent thousands of dollars, the bass was breathtaking and ground pounding all with amps never getting to hot and shutting off, consistent performance, they cost a little more however they actually put out what they say they put out and are reliable, with a system reliability is key so nothing catches fire/ruins/destroys other things only downside is that it's a little more expensive, however with an amplifier you get what you pay for.

Well, this is my third power series amp. I originally upgraded to a 600-4, and 400-2 power series amps to power my mids and highs. I was so happy with the upgraded sound and the 24 db crossovers + ease of connections + cool black color and small footprints, that I decided my JL Audio HD 750/1 was just not enough power to keep up. After great deliberation, I decided to go all Rockford power series, based on the fact that I wanted quality, 1000 watts+, small enough to fit under seat, and most importantly, Amazon's price on top level amplifier. Well after installing, I was initially disappointed. I had good solid connections, proper wiring (all stinger wiring/fuses/rca's), (2)Boston Acoustics G2 12's in a sealed box, plus 170 amp alternator, 3 farads worth of Fosgate caps, XS Power Battery, and still was not pleased with deep end bass. Overall output was louder than HD 750/1, but deep bass was definantly missing. Started tinkering with the punch eq setting and ring ding ding, Winner!!!! I never had to use bass boost before with my PPI amps or much with the JL Audio, but Rockford conveniently cut the bass response of their mono amps at approximately 45 Hz, and then gives it back to you in the form of the eq boost. Needless to say, the T1000-1 bangs the hell out my speakers now. Will have to upgrade subs now, as the G2's were struggling with the power increase during tuning. All in all, great amp, but do yourself a favor.. Don't skimp on the stupid peq remote that controls the bass at 45 HZ (Overrides eq settings and lets you control from front seat). It is definantly needed to feel the "punch", and at $20.00, isnt worth not having.. I immediately ordered my remote after realizing how important it's function was to these fosgate amps. Sneeky way to get an extra $20.00 (if you buy from Amazon of course). I read about needing the remote on another review, but got cheap after spending $400.00 on the amp, and didn't get it. Self corrected mistake after install, and ordered remote same day.. You've been warned again, get the remote!!!!!!

I had a Rodek amp running 1 ohm to my subs. It finally died after 15 years (granted it's in a classic car I don't drive often, but I digress). Put in this amp and could not be happier. Actually, I was not sure it would handle the load, get hot, and click off. It's in the trunk of my convertible with the top folding over it so limited air-flow around the amp however, no problems. Actually runs cooler than the old Rodek.

Shipping was prompt, packaging was well-done. I would recommend this amp to anyone powering higher-rms subs. I am running 2 P1 12"s (250 rms a piece), 1 P3 12" (600 rms), and 1 P3 10" (500 rms), for a grand total of a 1,600 watt load at 1 Ohm, which this amp handles with no difficulty whatsoever. It is rated for 1,000 watts at 1-2 Ohms, but according to the birth sheet that came with my T1000, the amp actually puts out 1,431 watts at 1 Ohm. I may actually believe it. The size is great, it is a compact 1,000 watt amp, and powers the bass end of my stereo build flawlessly. I drive a 2013 Scion tC, and it fits perfectly under my passenger seat. Now I'm hunting for rattles, this amp is a brute. When I wired it all up, I had my stereo at about 30% volume, with the stereos subwoofer level at 75%, gain on the amp at 50%, and bass boost on the amp at 25%, and I played some heavy bass test song and closed my car doors and went into the house for something (my car was in my garage). Basically all the pictures on my walls were rattling, along with everything on the bookcases. Point is, this amp puts out a hell of a lot of power.TL;DRThis amp is a beast. You won't regret it.

This amp is simply beutiful. i was lucky enough to find one for $350. but it is deffinantly worth over $450. i have this powering Rockford Fosgate P3-2X12 1200 Watts Dual Rms Subwoofer Enclosure and it makes them hit HARD. i had some fairly good quality amp powering them (i forget the brand) so i could break the subs in, and let me tell you this amp turned only 1/3 the way up hits harder than the other amp i had at 3/4 the way up. this set up makes my windows flex and you can feel the pressure in your chest, espically when sitting in the back, some people say they dont wanna sit back there because they want to b able to breath lol. iv read other reviews and they say the set up i have is able to set off car alarms when driving by. i haave not yet turned the gain up 1/3 the way and have not used any bass boost yet either. i can only say good things about this amp lolProsIt looks sexy as hellIt doesnt even get that warm, espically when hammering itHooking it up is simple as could beIt puts out literally breath taking power at only 1/3 gainCame 2 days earlier than the earliest estimate of deliveryConsThe only con i have is that when it was delivered the shipping box and even the factory box were damaged. but not bad. This amp does not deserve the one star bringing it down to 4 stars. that dissapoints me.
