This did a good job of picking up items at the bottom of the pool, including dog hair. I had another brand last year and it only lasted until I was past the return window. This one looks a bit better and hopefully it will last through the summer. It is a generic so I will update if it fails quickly.

This pool vacuum does a great job. It’s lightweight, easy to charge, and picks up dirt, leaves, and debris without hassle. The battery lasts long enough to clean the whole pool, and I like that it stops near the edge when it’s done. Cleaning the filter takes a little effort, but it’s worth it for the convenience. A solid choice for keeping the pool tidy with minimal effort.

This low cost pool vacuum is very much like the difference between a standard Roomba vacuum that needs cleaning every time it finishes vs. one of the new home robot vacuums that is more powerful, has built in AI, a phone app, and cleans itself. The CoasTeering pool cleaner is a basic stripped-down design that requires more work to clean out, is pretty lightweight and simple BUT does get the job done pretty well. I used it for the first time yesterday after my pool service tech had just left and after 2 hours of running around seemingly aimlessly it did pick up more dirt, animal fur, and a few leaves that the pool tech missed. If you are looking for an inexpensive robot pool vac and have a small pool, or even a large hot tub or plunge pool, this would work fine for you without all the high tech AI, phone app, to set up. It is sturdy, not too heavy, simple to recharge in 3 hours or less and it ran flawlessly for 2 hours in my pool. Great entry level pool vacuum for sure.

I love robotic pool cleaners! This is a good one. Built very durable; has a really nice fit and finish. The top snaps on and off easily. The wheels don't feel super durable to me, however, but time will tell if they are sufficient. It charges super-fast, must faster than other robots I've had. My favorite part is the light indicators for battery function. I'll be looking for an option like this from now on whenever I get a robotic pool cleaner in future years. Green lights are for 71-100% power, blue for 31-70% power and red for 0-30%. I really like that a quick check on the lighting gives me an idea of how much more time the vacuum will be working. A hook was included in the box for pulling the vacuum out of the water. It's a really great size and the orange handle helps me locate it in the water better also.
