I haven't used a rivet gun before so I let my husband review it after giving me a quick course on application.We both found it comfortable to use and it was really nice that it came with a number of rivet heads. Our project involved sheet metal and this two handled gun worked great although my mom-hands got tired fairly quickly, lol. Both the mandrel and body were strong and it made quick work of the short wall we were making.

Works as advertised. I agree that whenever possible using a two-handed rivet tool is preferable, and will yield better results. Not only does this increase the likelihood of getting the rivet straight, but it requires much less effort as wellSometimes space will not accomodate this so you may need a one-handed tool.The tool comes with a good assortment of rivets to get you started

Built very well but liking any storage. Only the storage that this came with was the cardboard box it was shipped in. It did come with a lot of pop rivets as well. I would really like to have had a case with it but it came as advertised. I’ve used this several times and haven’t had any issues at all it is comfortable to use and easy to use. Functions as advertised

Admittedly, I have never used a rivet gun. I ordered this item in hopes of being able to repair a shared property gate with a human being who has never learned that doors and gates don't need to be slammed in order to be closed properly. The fasteners (screws) had taken so much abuse that they decided to unscrew themselves and make an escape in any car tire they could embed themselves into.Now, not having experience with using a rivet gun the process took me a while to figure out - and in the process I learned that blind rivets are different than other rivets and that this item would only partially fix this issue. If I could rivet some sense into someone, it would completely fix the problem, but that is another matter, altogether.So far, as much as I could use the rivet gun and the supplied rivets this has been an excellent problem solver. This rivet gun is heavier than I thought it would be, I believe that translates into heavy duty and long-lasting. The materials seem pretty solid, the joints seem well put-together and work smoothly. I appreciate that many different sizes of rivets were sent with the gun; because quite frankly I had no idea what I was doing regarding sizing, etc. The interchangeable rivet heads are a smart option. I like that they screw into the body of the tool itself; less for me to have to keep track of. Also, the color-coding on the rivet heads made it super easy for me to know which size to use, quickly, instead of having to figure it all out and label the bags on my own.Because this was so easy to use I'm going to have to find other projects to rivet!

The connecting piece (the red piece) is plastic but it does seem durable and quite thick. This coems with 5 heads for different sized rivets and a decent sized starter supply of pop rivets.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product.
