Just set it up today. Took me about 2 hours. Set up was easy. I bought this for my music rack. 1U, 2U, 3U, etc. Overall, for the price. This gets 10 out of 10. I got a bit dented one but I didn’t mind that much because all the important screws went in all right. I have one request. It’s not a major one but the big Rod screws that go under the rack could have been longer because I still want the wheels attached but I still want the big rod screws to support the majority of the weight. Right now, the wheels are supporting the majority of the weight. This is actually not a big problem because I can just find a way to make it work but I thought this info would be useful for your next version of this production. This is a very solid product. Well done!! I would buy it again.

This rack came in horrible condition, the packaging was fine so I believe it came from the manufacturer like this. Every corner is bent and or chewed up. The instructions to put this together are also the worst, showing contradicting images on the same page. I am sending this back as I would never pay this much for anything in such bad condition.

This rack impressed me with this sturdy build and the ease with how it came together. Almost all of the edges were rounded and didn't present any areas that could cut me, which is a problem I've had with other racks in the past. The metal used seems very strong and the wheels work great. The rubber grommets in the bottom and top plate are easy to remove and the rubber inside the grommet was easy to remove. My only complaints about this unit come down to them combining the rack clips and screws into the same bag with different types. Both M6 and 10-32 screws were in the same bag as well as an additional bag of M6 and M5 screws. Before I could build the rack I had to go through and sort all the screws. This was not a big problem, but just something a couple extra bags to fix.Just for those looking, be aware that the sides aren't removable so as the rack fills up, it gets increasingly difficult to make things clean because you can't access the sides. At least, this novice had an issue with that.

I intended to put this rack under an existing shelf / table. It is advertised as 29.7" high with wheels which would have fit. Is actually 32.25" high fully assembled, so now I have to adjust the shelf it's supposed to go under. Oh, well... not the end of the world.Even though the packaging was decent, the unit arrived with a couple of small dents & sheet metal creases... but not enough to worry about since it is not a piece of fine furniture - it's a server rack. A few small paint scratches / blemishes as well... but again its just a server rack.Haven't started populating the rack yet, but it looks like there shouldn't be any dramas.

The RIVECO 15U Network & Audio Rack is a solid, well-built rack that’s quick and easy to set up. It’s perfect for organizing a stage rack or office rack with IT equipment. We are currently use it as a stage rack with 8 IEMS, combiners, and a stage-box.Pros:- assembly is pretty straight forward and we had no trouble setting it up- the design is sturdy~ feels solid and it holds all of equipment pretty solidly- i love the wheels, its awesome that you can move it aroundCons- the screws come in this giant bag without labels. So we spent some time figuring out which one goes where- Alignment Issues: Be careful when aligning the mounting rails; if they aren’t perfectly aligned before screwing in, you could lose 1U of space due to gaps, making it impossible to fit things properly.

I thought I was missing the screws to put this together but they were all in one bag - this unit could withstand a bomb - looking forward to putting it all together...now...where is that turret?

This little 12U rack is impressively sturdy. Nice gauge steel used for all parts , well powder coated. I think a key aspect of this rack’s design is that the top and bottom pieces are made from a single, bent and formed, piece of steel.Went together easily, the instructions are nice and clear. All the pieces go together with nuts and bolts. In truth, it took me about 30 minutes (there’s only so fast that I can put 48 nuts or on the 48 bolts and tighten them all with the driver drill). The bolts snug-up easily, without the use of washers, because they use flange nuts with a slight serration on the bottom to keep the nut from turning when it comes in contact with the surface. Everything lined up well and was well finished. No sharp edges. There were some minor cosmetic defects on the back of the top piece, where the point was scuffed/rubbed. It’s an equipment rack, so I don’t care. But if it was much worse, I’d have complained. The power distribution panel is clearly “not great” (see the other reviews), and if you’re using a UPS for your equipment you don’t want to plug a surge suppressor into your UPS in any case. I tossed the power distribution panel right into the trash, and used a Tripp Lite distribution panel.I didn’t use the included shelf… instead I bought two Riveco 14” 1U shelves and installed those,Plenty of decent quality cage nuts and bolts provided with the unit. I was happy that I didn’t have to struggle to get the cage nuts into the square holes (as I’ve had to do with other, “professional” racks). Note that the BACK of the rack has round holes that supposedly takes 10-32 screws. If the silver screws provided in the package are supposed to fit (they can’t be for anything else) they definitely do not… so, no verdict on the round holes. In summary…. A decent little rack, particularly for home use. Recommended for that purpose.

its easy to assemble, and as you can see ample space for my systems, also nice and slim, not very bulky, it does comes with no racks, you should add those, if you would need then, I source the ones you see, from a sysrac I replace with this one, the other one was just way too bulky and everything got hot inside even with 4 fans insise the unit.I was not especting this to be good actually, I mean it is not very expensive, also, this unit has the back and front open, but as long as it is against the wall, and good wire management, you should be just fine.if you are just looking for a functional U18 rack, and you just want function, I recommend this, again please do your research, on how many equipment pieces are you going to put in there.
