Does the job. I have some plastic versions and feel I might break the plate pulling out the cable if the connector is overly tight in the keystone.

This is a simple Cat6 wall plate. The Ivory color is a little more yellow than I anticipated, and a bit more than my other wall plates in the room, but it's not so close to any of those others as to bother. It's got a typical Cat6 connection both on the inside and the outside, so you just plug in a terminated cable from inside the wall into the interior connector.Otherwise, there is not that much to say. Worked just fine in my application and does the job if you need exactly this sort of thing. For that, it gets a full five stars. Just plain works...

Very easy product to use. Each wire inside the ethernet cable is just pushed into place using a very small flathead screwdriver. Here is what I wish I realized prior to doing the wring.... these plugs at T568A, while the rest of my house is T568B. T568A and T568B are the wiring standards that define the pinout (connection order) for terminating twisted-pair network cable in eight-pin modular connector plugs and jacks. If you follow the color scheme on the back of the plug you will get T568A, which is fine if the rest of your house it T568A. If the rest of your house is T568B then you will need to switch the color scheme around to make it work.
