Worked for my needs. I installed carefully as it seemed like it would break easily.

Used to house an HDMI and Ethernet run that terminated where we weren't able to flush-mount the outlets. It's a standard double-gang box so standard brush plates and outlet covers fit as expected. Quick solution that looks clean and avoided the need to fabricate something.

I had a wire management issue on my kitchen countertop. I needed a small white box that I could stuff all the wires from my Sonos speaker and phone/watch charger. With the punch outs on the back allows entry and I purchased a blank cover plate for the front. This is the best and cleanest solution.

If you live in you're granny's basement and the electric box is smaller than your budget for a new home this is what you need to fit a big 🍑 smart switch.

I expected them to be heavier but for a flush mount they look so much better than the more expensive ones at hardware stores.So..I recommend them

Unfortunately, 2 of them cracked during basic install. It was challenging to get box to not warp when installed. Should make thicker.

The surface mount low profile boxes were exactly what I needed to add a couple of garage door switches. Just moved into a new house and it had some super old goofy looking pushbutton actuators for the garage doors. I bought some Leviton contacts switches that look very similar to pedal switches and they fit perfectly inside of the surface mount box. I was hoping it came with the front plate but that’s OK I will order one I think they’re only a dollar or two. You may want to measure to make sure that your switch will fit as only certain sensors will fit and certainly no Wi-Fi enabled switches will fit. I preferred this box because I didn’t want a deep box sticking out of my wall - this 1.25inch depth is perfect compromise.

Easy to install over an existing outlet. I used this 2 gang to install a deep dimmer switch that wouldn't fit in the old metal 1 gang box. This attaches to the old box with use of the provided screws into the old switch mount holes. I centered it for looks, but it slides when pushed hard, but that's not biggy. The back plate attaches first, after you have cut out the back slot to allow your wires through. Once it's mounted you press on the box, do your wiring, attach the new deep switch...botta bing, your now ready to install the faceplate. This 2 gang box is very versatile. I highly recommend it if you need to install a deep dimmer, and have no room to do so. I went with the 2 gang, because it was thinner than the single gang, but would still allow installation of the switch. Plus it is more appealing to the eye, over a bigger single gang box.

I used this outlet box to install a set of outlets onto the front of a control enclosure.Since that's not exactly what these boxes were designed for, I'd say that it did the job just fine, and is a testament to the versatility of these backboxes. There are knockouts all over this thing for finding ways to get your wires into it. All four sides have multiple punch-out options, and the back also has three punchouts.Speaking of the back panel, you have countless mounting options and screw holes for attaching the box to your wall, enclosure, or other place of electrical interest. While running your wires, remember that this is a nonmetallic enclosure, and you will need to make sure you have ground available on both outlets. It's not going to do it for you.The only knock I can give this box is that because of its low profile design, you don't have a whole lot of room to work inside and run your wires, especially for heavier 12ga installations.Installing a GFCI and a USB charger outlet left me with very little space to run the wiring, and it felt cramped, but that's the price to pay for putting that much outlet into a box this small.
