Since I have added a second Win 11 computer to the Computer room, I needed a way to hook both units to a single printer. This neat little gadget does the job well. You get the switch, a cable for each computer and a controller on a cord for convenient placement. A pair of lights on the switch show which PC is connected. And inexpensive. Recommended.

After purchasing and promptly returning two similar products to split my printer between two computers that did not work with both MAC Sequoia 15 3.1 and Windows 11, I stumbled across this one through some tech website that rated these devices. It works perfectly with both computer operating systems. - bliss!! Please read reviews of these devices before purchasing. I left reviews for the two that I returned to save others the hassle I went through.

My wife is a teacher and uses this product in her classroom. She uses it to easily to switch between 2 different sources to her Smartboard. I works great because without it she would have to unplug one source device and plug in another. Since the box has to be placed behind the Smartboard having the remote control toggle is an added benefit.

Being a retro enthusiast, and having a GoTEK (Floppy drive emulator) I was getting tired of swapping a USB key between the GoTek and my main rig. I purchased a 2-in, 4-out model prior to this one which didn't work (The GoTek doesn't like hubs, which is what the 4-out model has to have). This 2-in, 1-out model worked without issues and at the push of a button, my main rig and my 486 are able to have exclusive access to the USB key. Perfect for my needs.

Worked just like it states, easy to use but I would prefer the larger switch had better mounting options. Also, if pressure is placed in the top of the case, it acts as a switch (weak shell/structure). It is nice to not have to run a network cable to the printer or get another one, this is a good option if you want to share a printer with two computers

Exactly what I’ve been looking for! I have two computers going into one printer at my work office. 10 times a day I have to switch cables on the printer and am worried about the port getting worn out from doing so …not to mention the hassle. This solves it completely. You can switch from printer 1 to 2 on the puck and a led light shows also, or I use the “key” to switch between. It’s actually about 5’ long . My computer is behind me so I ran the “key” to the corner of my desk used two way tape to hold in place …so convenient. No led light on the key but if it doesn’t print just tap the button and away it goes

This is an interesting product that has its uses, but be careful you understand what you are getting.I was disappointed by the heavy USB-A to USB-B cables on the input side. You don't see those very often these days. Perhaps on old printers. Sadly the cables supplied are bigger and stiffer than I would prefer. You may have some shorter lighter ones in your old junk box to use in your application.Beware that this is USB 2.0 so don't expect to use USB 3.0 peripherals with it like SSD drives.The switch does switch the USB lines, but it also leaves the device powered when switched "off". This may or may not be desirable depending on the application.What I like the best is the remote control on an extended cable, allowing you to have the switch hidden behind the desk and the small remote button accessible beside your keyboard.So, 2 computers, one mouse and keyboard. Or, 2 computers, one printer. These are perfect applications for this switch and I expect it to work perfectly in that situation.

Super simple to install. I needed to connect two computers to one printer and this device fit the bill perfectly. It comes two USB cables and a remote button to select the input. I use the selector button on the device.
