Connection diagram of 3 monitors KVM switch
The input and output of this machine are one-to-one. Input A is connected to the KVM, so output A can receive the signal. And you need to connect the USB port of the input end to the KVM and the computer so that the keyboard and mouse can be recognized.
If you need all three monitors to work, you need to use two DP cables and one HDMI cable to connect the computer and KVM.

Video works great on KVM, but usb 3.0 was not able to handle video and multiple speakers.—————I updated this review to 5 stars because of the stellar after market support I received after giving my feedback about the USB issue with this KVM. While ultimately they determined it was due to insufficient power to the usb hub, I appreciated their effort to diagnose the issue. They also gave me a partial refund to offset my cost of purchasing a usb switch to use in conjunction with this KVM.In the end, with service and the USB switch augmenting the KVM, I am very happy with the product. Note the product is a KVM switch and for use of the usb to only transfer video, keyboard and mouse, the KVM switch works great. I was simultaneously including my video camera, headset and microphone and speakers, which I think they said they will resolve in future release of this product by increasing power to the usb hub.

Everything worked perfectly with my windows pc, Mac mini M4, and M1 MacBook Pro EXCEPT a small USB INCOMPATIBILITY where in order to use my USB mouse for just the MacBook Pro, a USB 3.0 to 3.0 cable and a dongle adapter was needed for the mouse to work. This was not the case for the Mac mini which was fine with a USB 3.0 to USB C cable. I know the cable and mouse were fine because plugging the same USB 3.0 to USB C cable to my Mac mini worked perfectly. It is purely a USB 3.0 to USB C incompatibility that can be fixed with an adapter.

I purchased this about a month ago, so if something changes there will be an update. TDLR, this is best KVM Switch I have ever purchased and I've paid a lot more than $100 for other switches, A LOT MORE. I was actually hesitant to purchase this, due to the low price.First off this will handle 3 systems and currently have it working on a Windows, Linux and Apple. Other switches, even expensive tend to be buggy. They don't always switch on the first try and sometimes not all monitors activate first try and there's a lot of powering of and on to make it work. I have not had any of those issues on this device, although it will take about 10 seconds to switch form one machine to another. Also most switches I've had die within a year. I can't say this one will last as time will tell and I will update this review if needed.Keep in mind this will power both 4K and 8K monitors but you must have the HDMI input line up with the HDMI output and Display port to Display Port. You can't run from display port to HDMI port. Also, there is only one HDMI port and two Display ports, so you can run 3 monitors but they need to have the correct ports. I bring this up because some of the negative reviews don't seem to understand this. This isn't just this switch, even the expensive ones are this way. Also, you will need the same amount of cords you already have times 2 as your existing cords will run to the switch. From there your will need the same number and type of cords to run from the switch to your monitors. They must line up.I've used specialized equipment in the past with price tag I don't even want to mention. That's the way with technology improvements. It almost depresses me how much money I've spent on these type of devices and this little $100 switch works better than them all. Then again, I've only had this a month, so we'll see.

Functional, does what it’s supposed to. NOT a very fast switch between systems! In fact, slowest KVM I’ve ever used, but for the price point, will live with it.

The switch I ordered didn't work but they get 5 star rating for customer support, they were responsive with helping me troubleshoot the problem and when their suggestions didn't help they sent me a new switch without me even asking. I got the new switch hooked up and it works perfectly.

I require sharing various monitors with 3 computers: a laptop, and two desktops. I have three monitors, but I only can extend one monitor to the laptop. I considered purchasing the option of sharing only two monitors but went for the three-monitor option since this option has HDMI and Displayport availability. I am glad that I went for this option since my laptop only has a HDMI port.Consideration when purchasing this item:* the monitor cables need to be graded properly for the system to work. I have an old HDMI cable that works fine when connecting directly the computer to the monitor but doesn't work via the KVM. I needed to buy new cables.* Getting an adaptor HDMI-DisplayPort will not work. I had a high-grade HMDI cable and purchased a high-grade DisplayPort adaptor. Using the cable with the adaptor was useless when connecting via the KVM system. Again it works fine when connecting directly from the computer to the monitor.With the high-grade cable, everything works fine. I was able to use the two outputs of a monitor (DisplayPort and HDMI) as two inputs to the KVM switch. This is useful if you only are going to share two monitors, but the computers may have different output ports. In my case, my laptop only had an HDMI port, but my other two desktops can share both monitors.So far, the product works great. I was very reluctant to purchase this equipment since Amazon shows a high level of returns for this type of product. I will update my review if the system breaks any time soon. For the moment, I am enjoying my productivity.

The device is small and appears of high quality. It worked perfectly with my PC (rtx2060) and an Asus laptop but unfortunately it did not work with my Dell laptop from work. I tried new cables, different ports etc and nothing worked - garbled screen.

J'ai dû acheter des convertisseurs VGA -> HDMI pour l'utiliser avec mes serveurs HP, car ces derniers ne disposent pas de sorties HDMI. Une fois ce convertisseur en place, j'ai pu raccorder mes 2 serveurs installés à la cave sur un seul écran et un seul clavier/souris, me permettant de passer de l'un à l'autre désormais sans toucher les câbles. C'est extrêmement pratique. Le changement est rapide, la détection des périphériques USB par le nouvel ordinateur se fait rapidement et je n'ai pas constaté d'erreur de reconnaissance, je valide donc ce commutateur !

Nothing worked on this KVM except the HDMI port. I tried several monitors, several different cables, and a couple PCs, and none of the DisplayPorts would work, nor would anything USB. Meanwhile the antique StarTec KVM that I found in a closet worked perfectly on the first try. The only reason I bothered with this switch is that I really needed something with a remote switch. A remote doesn't do much good when there's nothing usable to control.
