Screws stripped and galled to the plate if torqued enough to actually clamp to a molle panel properly, pin fell out after a 2 day trip on the easiest forest service roads. Incredibly low quality mount. Avoid!

The product is well made and solid. Installed on my Molle Panels...attached fire extinguisher to the outer piece, and inserted into main bracket. There is a slight bit of play after inserted, and this causes a distinct "rattle" noise while driving. I resorted to use 3 bungee cords to "tighten" the connection. All silent now. Appears the engineering needs tweaked a little for a tighter fit. Still happy with this item.

Looks cool and functions well as a tool.Only issue I had was the rattling. Black gorilla tape on the extinguisher side mounting rib solved that though.I’d definitely buy it again

Simple lips for the hose-clamps will keep them secure, and could be easily changed to fit a tube mounting as well, and a fast and secure locking mechanism, just use a little loctite blue when making metal to metal connections and it should hold for a long time. Good design and well made.

Though I was able to make this barely work, I am not satisfied with the safety and security of this mounting system. The T-Block that engages the square base is much too narrow and only grips a standard Molle panel by ~1mm per inside edge of the 'T'. Any slippage at all and the proper fixation of the mount to the Molle panel is lost.

Been running this TACMOLLE mount on my Tacoma's seat molle panel for 4 months now. Quick take? It's rock solid but definitely demands its share of real estate in an already tight back seat area.Build quality is top notch - no wobble, no cheap feeling parts here. The quick release system works exactly as intended, though I've got one beef: the release knob looks more like a push button than a pull handle. In an emergency, that could cause confusion. A simple 'PULL' engraving might fix this.What you need to know:- Built like a tank- Secure mounting system- Takes up noticeable space in Tacoma back seat- Release mechanism could be more intuitive for others- Pricey but quality matches cost- Better than budget optionsTip: Consider your vehicle's space constraints before mounting - it's not exactly low profile. May have to give up the back seat acting as a seat.Bottom line: Yeah, it's expensive and bulky, but it's a quality piece of kit that does its job well. Just wish they'd made the release mechanism more obvious for others in emergency situations.

Fits good. The mollie mounts are great. Just know you have to pull the red release rather than push it when laying out your design.

I was tempted to try and make my own Molle mount using other cheap fire extinguisher mounts available, but this aluminum kit is very sturdy and worth the price.I wish TACMOLLE sold their rifle mount in Canada too!
