Excellent idea works on a hinge system. Pull lever drops out. Great for UTVs comes with large small clamps.

I use this on my Hard Dog Rollbar on my NB2 Miata, the quick release function works flawlessly, and I drive with my top down at decently high speeds, and even take my car drifting with this attached and had 0 issues with it slipping! It looks great, works great, and holds amazingly! Highly recommend!

This is a very sturdy mount to add an extinguisher to a UTV or 4x4. For my purpose, the included hose clamps were too large, so I picked some up 2” clamps at a local auto parts store. Fit & finish of this bracket is great, and like I said, it holds secure. I have been off-road several times and it hasn’t budged.

I installed this and it worked very well for a while. It hold the extinguisher firm. The only issue I had is the piece the screws the red knob into the base. After many rides we went one a fairly rough ride and the threaded piece backed out and the red knob and pin fell off and where lost forever.... I purchased a second complete bracket, however I will be putting locktite on the treaded pieces of the new one when I get my machine out for the summer and install it.

I used this to attach a fire extinguisher (specifically a Home1 fire extinguisher, they're ~$20 at Harbor Freight) to the harness bar in my car. The clamps given to attach to the fire extinguisher are just about a perfect size for this task, however the ones given to attach the mount to the bar are too long for a bar like this. So if you're going out to get a fire extinguisher, get a ~$8 set of random size clamps from Harbor Freight; they do the job great. I used thin foam pads around the inside of the clamps to prevent scratching. The mount is very secure and the release mechanism works great, and has no rattle. The fire extinguisher itself, in 99% of cases, will rattle (over some bumps it'll rattle a bit, but considering how much vibration is in my car it doesn't make noise often). Some reviews mentioned the angle/curvature of the mount was odd for the bars they were mounting it to, and those people had photos of the mount installed backwards.. reference the photo in my review; if you mount it right, it works perfect. For the price, definitely can't complain!

The aluminum holder is super sturdy and smooth. I mounted it up in my exterior truck bed and as anyone knows from experience with "stainless steel" pipe straps, that the strap is stainless, but the bolt and bolt housing is usually not. I've had several pipe straps like this rust through and break on me at this connection when attached to exhaust pipes. Once the provided strap started rusting I cleaned it up and put some paint on the rusting parts, so it should be good now. Sorry, I only have pics after I painted it, but you can see which parts rust. Full SS straps are like $30+, so this is still a killer deal.

Great product. Used along with a Braketeer to mount to the seat bolts of my Crosstrek. Very happy with performance and strength. The paint does scratch easily but isn't a big deal to me. Will buy again

Looks great, very functional. Sturdy and holds up great in the trail. I actually mounted a 10LB ABC extinguisher to it, Had to get some larger clamps at the hardware store to fit the 10LB but it holds it great. Very good product very good price.

I've tried a couple other mounts for the fire extinguisher on my ORV. None worked well.This one does! The screw-clamps aren't pretty, but they allow the mount to work universally. The downside is that there's a lot of leftover after tightening the large clamp to my rollbar. I'll go to the local hardware store and pick up a couple smaller diameter clamps.I added some rubber between the clamps and my ORV rollbar so that the rollbar wouldn't get scratched.

Better/higher quality than expected considering the better price point. Very minimal play between the two pieces of aluminum and no rattling while driving. The provided hose clamps fit my JL role bar perfectly.
