Product Description

Smith Creek Rig Keeper

Load up your Smith Creek Rig Keeper and leave your box behind!

Smith Creek's Rig Keeper is just the right size to carry up to 8 rigs and holds all styles. Make up your rigs the night before, so they are ready to use on the day.

You can wear it on a lanyard, put it in your pocket or stow it in your pack. The exposed ribs keep flies, hooks, and leaders from getting damaged or hung up.

Finally, a way to carry dropper rigs without tangles!

Rig Keeper's UV-resistant, die-cut foam is fitted with notches and micro slits along the edges so you can store your dropper rigs without tangles. These notches also work great for holding split shot.

Just pull the line through a slot until the shot is snugged up against the foam body. To keep your line from tangling, start by securing the anchor first and the dropper second.

Secure the ends of the line without hooks in the micro slits along the edge. Simply reverse the winding direction to neatly remove your rig.

I have more than a dozen of these for different fishing applications in New Zealand, where I almost always fish two flies. They mean i always have tandem flies rigged ready to go, saving a lot of time tying on the river. This is especially useful in low light and during short hatches when I want to be fishing, not tying knots.

I have several Smith Creek products that I like very much. This one did not disappoint. It provides a nice way to store dry dropper and George Harvey rigs.

It is good. But it is expensive.

My partner loves this very simple but genius addition to his fishing gear. Flies are organized and at the ready when your hands are full.

This thing is awesome! Perfect for a longer day on the river or several day trip. It is also ideal for trying to find out what they are hitting without having to spend all of your precious river time tying up. Took it on a fishing trip and my friends were jealous I had it.
