This palette knife is designed well. It is medium sized with a nice shape blade, and good flexibility. I like using it for mixing oil paints on my palette. The size is perfect for this. Some palette knives do not bend well but this one has the right amount of give to make it a great tool.

It's very flexible, so flexible that I thought it was plastic at first and I had to double take.Grab a plastic spoon and feel how flexible it is. That is how flexible this is.Personally I think the flexibility is perfect but you may not agree

I bought this palette to replace a similar palette knife that broke. This RGM brand is a cheaper version of a harder to find Richeson brand. The angle of the shank is shallower and the reach is shorter. I started using it and it didn’t feel right - then I compared to an older Richeson (there are other good brands too) and saw the difference. I am writing this review because RGM brands are more and more common (on Blick site for instance) but they are sub-par. If you are new to painting you wouldn’t know.

I saw this because of an artist on Instagram. I was using the usual palette knife but it always bothered my wrist. And I also felt like it worked against me. I didn’t love the one I was using. I saw this being used in a video and figured out what it was. I love this I will definitely be buying more and probably won’t go back to pointed palette knives.

Hand wash before use, natural dry and found the coating on the handle was gone. After one week of use, most of the words on the handle barely can see.Quality of the knife (Silver part) is good, soft and easy to handle not like the other brand are hard that make it difficult to paint.

This knife was recommended to me by Michele Byrne who is an outstanding plein air palette knife painter. She was right in recommending it. It is a terrific painting knife! The blade on the knife is very flexible and is easy to manipulate for painting or for mixing paints. I have a pretty good collection of palette knives and this is now my favorite. In addition to the flexibility, the finish on the blade is perfect. It is very easy to clean because of the smooth finish. Plus it just looks good. The shape and size are perfect for painting. This palette knife specifically, and RGM in general, are now my go-to palette knives!
