What a nice bright led light these add to the back of my truck. Not really too hard to install. Just use a thin pry tool slide it in beside light on the left side. Reach up under and apply pressure it will pop out and you will be able to twist the housing which allows the plug to turn and pull out. Then press down on the small tap you pull out and remove the halogen bulb , replace with new led wire into the bulb housing and put all back in place. Repeat for opposite side. Note keep the red wire towards the tailgate side. Test before putting back in frame.

I purchased these to illuminate me locks of my class A motorhome on the dark Alaskan nights. They fit great and are the style I like. They work well in my application as well as I suspect yhey would in the intended application.nice and brute and beam angle is good.

They are so bright that from anything but a direct angle they look like back up lights. I imagine they'd render any back up camera useless if you've installed an aftermarket one. First gen Tacoma
