I purchased this as a jewelry organizer. It works so well that I bought a second one and will likely by a third. Installation was straightforward. The slide out works smoothly with the touch of a finger. Highly recommend for quality, purpose and ease of operation.

I had to return it because it only works on a wall facing the right direction. All the walls I wanted to put this on faced the wrong way for me to use this. But I really liked the quality.

This is the second Rev-A-Shelf product review I'm writing today -- not because I have any affiliation with the company (I don't, and indeed had never heard of them prior to my recent purchases), but because I'm that pleased with the products. This one in particular solved for me what had been an extreme annoyance: my closet unit is cramped and only 12" deep, and I have a ton of ties that I need to access on a near-daily basis.Enter this thing. Once installed (a quick and easy process, as this comes with Euro-type system screws and wood screws to use if your holes don't line up), this fits securely (no wobble) against the side of my closet. When pushed in, the front panel, (which is matte black) is flush with the front of my closet. It's very easy to pull out, and the excellent quality is evident when you do. If anything, the smooth glide gives it a "high end" feel that belies how inexpensive it actually was. Best of all, it works exactly as I hoped. It holds 23 ties (which for me meant that I am using more than one of these), with just enough room to see and use them. If I had unlimited space, I no doubt would want a bit more space between the ties, but my priority was maximizing my storage without compromising usability. For that, this item is spot-on perfect.

Used to use an old hanging vertical tie rack that was hard to find ties buried underneath as my collection grew. This product has really upgraded my walk-in closet and it makes it very easy to look through all my ties and tuck them back out of place. Now that it's installed I actually much more space for additional ties.Hardware is heavy duty and high class. Only minor gripe is that the chrome does pick up some fingerprints, but what chrome hardware doesn't? Installation was very simple. I installed mine on a 1/2" piece of white wood to give it more space to slide and to clear the molding of doorway that I have it adjacent to. No issues whatsoever and slides very smoothly.
