I am in law enforcement and have used this once since I ordered it. It worked instantly and helped save a crash victim from entrapment. Very conveniently sized and easy to carry around in your pocket.

This product really delivers. I bought this for my husband who is a first responder. He literally used it the day after to break a window open for an entrapment at work! It took one press and zero extra effort or force. This tool really lives up to its name and definitely delivers

I know it’s just a key ring sized item but it’s quite flimsy and not sure I could trust it if I really needed it to work in an emergency. One of the two came already loaded and resetting it is not working.

I bought one of these about 5 yrs ago and it lasted on my key ring forever. They are durable and well made. It is literally a life saver and makes me feel more peace of mind knowing that if something was to ever happen I would be able to break the glass in my vehicle or someone else's to get away from a car in a timely manner. The seat belt cutter is sharp and enclosed in such a way that when disconnected from the keyring you would really have to make an effort to cut yourself while being easy to slice through the material of a seatbelt. This is the second one of these I have purchased and I have bought them for all my loved ones as well. They bring me piece of mind and that is priceless.

I really liked that they were on keychains. They were well built and sturdy. The seatbelt cutter was extremely sharp, but positioned so that you couldn't cut yourself. The reason for my three stars is that I had to return them because they were defective. There were no spikes when I pushed down. I took a flashlight and looked inside and sure enough no spikes just empty springs. I didn't want the same problem so I just got a refund and not a replacement. But I would really like to rebuy them, maybe at an actual store so I can check them right away. So if you do buy them, check as soon as you get it. An emergency is not the time to find out it's missing parts.Update- I have since rebought these and wanted to give an updated review. I changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. They arrived in perfect condition this time. I tested both on some glass sheets I had and they worked fine. The first one broke the glass on the first try, but the second one took two tries. Despite this I gave them 5 stars because they are well made, compact and easy to carry with you and do the job. I would still recommend testing them when you first get them but overall I am very pleased.

I've used full sized automatic center punches as window breakers, during my emergency response days. This is an excellent fill-in unit. It attaches to your keychain, and is a sort of pull-apart unit, so that you have easy and instant access to the thing if you need it.The window breaker will only work on the side or rear windows, the front windshields of American cars are laminate tempered glass that have a sheet of plastic between the layers. This won't break that. But the side or rear glass, no problem. Just push the flat end of the breaker against the glass, you'll hear a little "pop" and the window breaks into thousands of tiny glass crumbs. As far as the seat belt cutter, it seems sharp enough, although I don't want to test it and possibly dull the blade. Seems like it'll do the job nicely if called on.Of course this thing is not a cure-all. You need to have a plan in the back of your head. Watch the TV show "Mythbusters" and look for the submerged car episode to see what I mean. Trying to figure out how to use this while your car is filling up with water and you and your passengers are panicking is not the time to be reading instructions or formulating an escape plan. This item, which is much smaller than those "Escape" hammers you can also buy, is very cheap insurance. The advantage over the hammers is that you don't have to swing this to make it work, just press it against a window and you're out.I got one for every member of my family, including the non-drivers. No telling if you'll be a passenger in someone else's car when the need for this thing arises.
