Instructions

  1. Locate the filters: The location of the filters may vary depending on your CPAP machine, but they are typically located near the back or side of the device.
  2. Remove the old filters: Once you locate the filters, remove them from the machine. Some filters may be disposable, while others may be washable and reusable. If the filters are washable, make sure to clean them thoroughly before reinserting them.
  3. Insert the new filters: After removing the old filters, insert the new filters in their place. Make sure they are properly aligned and securely in place.
  4. Turn on your CPAP machine: After inserting the new filters, plug your CPAP machine back into the power source and turn it on. Make sure to check that your machine is functioning properly.

Generally, disposable filters should be replaced every two weeks or sooner if they appear dirty or damaged, while reusable filters should be cleaned every two weeks or sooner and replaced every six months or as recommended by the manufacturer.

Improving CPAP Hygiene

Improves CPAP Hygiene

CPAP machines draw in air from the surrounding environment and deliver it to your airways. This means that the air you breathe while using a CPAP machine can contain dust, particles, and other debris. Changing your CPAP filters regularly can help to trap and prevent them from entering your airways, which can improve your overall health.

Adding CPAP Comfort

Increases CPAP Comfort

Dirty filters can reduce the air quality of your CPAP therapy, leading to musty or stale air that may be unpleasant to breathe. By changing your filters regularly, you can ensure that the air you breathe during therapy is fresh and clean, which can improve your comfort and overall experience.

Optimizing CPAOptimizing CPAP ComfortP Comfort

Enhances CPAP Performance

A clogged filter can restrict the air flow of your CPAP machine, which can reduce the effectiveness of your therapy. By changing your filters regularly, you can ensure that your CPAP machine is getting the airflow it needs to provide optimal therapy and improve your sleep apnea symptoms.

Protecting your CPAP Investment

Protects CPAP Investment

A dirty filter can cause your CPAP machine to work harder, which can increase wear and tear and lead to equipment failure. By changing your filters regularly, you can prevent damage to your CPAP machine and extend its lifespan, which can save you money on repairs and replacements.
