Safety is our top priority and this ladder was perfect for that. It stays in place. We have 5 grandchildren and the ladder is super sturdy for entering and exiting the pool. It was so easy to assembly. The width and height size were perfect.When winterizing the pool, it was easy to remove.

I really hated the cheap narrow stairs that came with our pool. So finally this year I chose to get a stair set with railings. Putting it together was not too bad but there are a lot of plastic pieces you have to pull apart before you put them together. I wish they were already separated because I had to use a knife to do that part. It was a little bit of a challenge to put in the pool. We had added some sand to it, but I bought pool sand weights I wanted to use to make it easier when it’s time to take it out for winter. Once the water filled in it and we got the weights on each railing it was solid. I had purchased a stair mat to go under it to help eliminate any friction rips. I have not had any issues with algae because I used PoolRx in the skimmer filter all season. Such a game changer! We soon will be taking the pool down for winter (soft sided round) so we shall see how difficult it may be to take it out. Wish us luck!But, if you are debating which set of stairs to choose, I do highly recommend these! Also consider getting sand bag weights. Not difficult to put together, looks good, and sturdy.

SO, mixed feelings on this one. I think it would work better if I could get my darn stairs to sit on it. They float a bit, so the mat is moving a tiny bit. It lays fairly well, but not 100% flat. Lifts a teeny tiny bit around edges, but nothing too annoying. It's not super heavy duty thick, but it's effective.I was able to cut this to size, no problem.Seems like a decent mat and is doing its job of protecting the liner.Time will tell as far as how long it will last. I am guessing I'll get at least 2-3 seasons of it.

The front of the mat rolls up. Only concern is that. If mat is not under ladder it rolls up.

I bought these for our 24ft round pool, and they work great. The original ladder for the pool was not very stable, and you used to have to go down off our deck on to the lawn to get into the pool, which tracked grass into the pool, now we just walk off the deck directly into the pool and the pool stays cleaner. Also gives you a place to sit while in the pool, as well as an area to acclimate to the water temp.

This mat is actually pretty thick, I'm hoping it will save my pool liner from the steps.Time will tell if it works.This mat was better quality than I expected and was very easy to cut with scissors.I just climbed into my pool with the mat and a pair of scissors.Then just eyeballed the size and put it in place.
