SAM Splint 3X Combo Pack
SAM Splints are lightweight and compact (4 oz. for 4.25in x 36in strip), and can be rolled or folded for easy storage in emergency kits or backpacks. They are radiolucent (do not have to be removed for X-rays) and are not affected by extreme temperatures or altitudes.
This Combo Pack includes three flat-folded Splints: (1) 36", (1) 18", (1) 9" splint.

I am upgrading our first aid kit and a lot of people recommended these sam splints. I really like how you can basically customize the splint to your specifics situation. Haven’t used this product yet, hope I never do, but it seems very nice.

I do a lot of hiking in reasonably remote areas, both solo and in groups. These were recommended during a first aid class for hikers that I took last year. They are foldable/adjustable to conform to a limb better than a stick, and many of the areas in which I hike, there are no sticks (Above treeline).I haven't used them yet, and I hope I never have to use them. However, they are always in my first aid kit in my backpack incase they are needed.

If you travel frequently, enjoy backpacking, or cover events, these splints are perfect for securing almost any orthopedic injury and take up minimal space in your bag while being light weight.

I hope we never have to use these, but I feel better having them on hand in our hiking backpack first aid kit. I was expecting rolls, since that is how the singles look, but these arrive flat, packaged together in a 9.25" long, 4 1/8" wide and 1 5/8" high plastic wrapped bundle. The weight (with overwrap) is 7.8 oz.

These are great to have on a boat or in a car if you carry a first aid kit. Reusable and study. Everyone should have a set of these.

I am an on-site medic at an outdoor entertainment center. I bought this set to add to my EMT pack and fortunately I have not had to use it. I am not usually into buying name brands "just cause" but I got these instead of the off-brands because my local fire department advised me to get these. I don't think they will last me more than 3 uses mainly due to the metal already starting to wear out the foam edges just from being tossed around in my bag, but it's not a major problem.
