We have some amazingly tenacious fleas out here, and most normal flea combs prove to be too flimsy to tackle the pests. They literally just push the tines of other combs out of the way and slip on through. Not this comb! It’s awesome in its sturdiness. The downside? There is a gap where the teeth of the comb meet the handle. A little indentation made out of black plastic, which is a perfect place for fleas to hide. Were this flush, this would be the perfect flea comb. The little, dark crevasse where fleas can escape notice is truly a terrible design flaw.

As a feline lover and caretaker of multiple cats, I have purchased many brushes over the decades. This is easily the best one! The difference is associated with the rotating tines. Buy it!!

I have been looking for a quality flea comb for a while now. This flea comb and the rotating teeth comb are well made, hefty, and super comfortable in my hand. I have purchased other flea combs that did not last, most of the teeth break or come out of the comb. This flea comb is built to last. I bought the bundle and also got the wide tooth comb with rotating teeth. That thing is fantastic! It goes through my BC’s coat like butter. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

All in all I love this comb. It's the first one that I've used out of 4 different styles that my older hound/pyrenees mix dog doesn't complain about being used on his hind quarters where he's developed a lot of matted fur from his undercoat. The curved bladed de-shedding rakes always snagged and pulled on the matts so I couldn't do it for long, the skip tooth style deshedding combs similar would snag and pull on the matts (not as badly but enough for him to start complaining), and slicker brushes really only got the loose top coat hair out. This rotating pin comb worked amazingly well to get into and break up the matts all around his hind quarters and rear end without causing all the discomfort that other style brushes/combs did. In a fairly short time I had most of the worst of the matted fur broken up and a fair amount of it removed which saved me having to try and shave the hair out with a trimmer.About the only thing preventing me from giving this a 5 star review is that the pins themselves are made from a fairly soft metal that seems to be easily prone to bending, especially near the top of the comb. I was able to easily enough bend back the couple pins near the top end with my fingernail, but still I would have liked those to have been a little more rigid and not bend that easily.

I have no idea how this works or why but it takes the daily tangles out, without my dog causing any fuss. I also like the easy to grip handle. This is a keeper.

The teeth rotate and really make combing difficult hair so much more easy and smooth with minimal hair breakage or loss because hair does not break or pull out. Especially effective with a product like Cowboy Magic (yes, originally I bought for my horses) or Biosilk. Cowboy Magic seems identical to Biosilk to me. It's great great stuff. I have horses and I use this comb on manes and tails. But even better, I use it on my own hair because I bought two when I realized what it was. My hairdresser had originally suggested that I never use a brush on my own hair because it's curly and fine and breaks easily. She always uses a metal-tooth comb with rotating teeth like this, only the one she uses is a little bigger and marketed for humans. But it is the same concept and the only difference is the distance between the teeth and slight difference in length of the teeth. My horses love it. And my dog loved it. I love it. This is the all-around family comb LOL for those with long delicate hair. I cannot say enough about how great these things are. My two cents. It really helps to have a good product to use with it but the comb by itself is also a huge help in the everyday grooming of ourselves and our beloved pets.

First, I'm not a groomer. Second, this comb is magical. I've got a Great Pyr, mini Aussie and maltipoo (I think lol). This comb is so gentle but effective at breaking up the mats behind their ears, which is where I used to cut/shave off because I didn't want to hurt them. My dogs love getting combed down because it doesn't pinch or pull. Works great from delicate ears to thick hind legs/tail area. Comfortable to hold.

Meine Maine Coon sind eigentlich was schwierig beim Kämmen, aber dieser Kamm scheint wenig zu ziepen, kam bisher sehr gut damit durch das Fell. Auch die Unterwolle kann ich damit rausholen, ohne gekratzt zu werden. So wirklich antistatisch ist der Kamm zwar nicht, aber da ich meine zwei Kater damit endlich mal richtig kämmen kann, bin ich sehr zu zufrieden.

Di professionale questo pettine ha ben poco, ho una Maine Coon e non sono riuscita a pettinarla , quindi ho dovuto acquistare un altro pettine in un negozio di animale

This comb works remarkably well with our long-hair cat. When we first opened the comb I thought there was no way that such a fine tooth comb could even begin to make its way through the mass of fur that is our cat's coat. But with a little experimentation, we have learned to alter the angle of the comb so that we can accomplish several different kinds of combing and brushing for our hairy friend. First and foremost, if your pet has any fleas you simply MUST use a fine tooth comb like this one to enhance your flea control efforts by removing both dead and live fleas from all that hair. We have always used a brush with our cat, but using this comb to get more of the fine hair from her undercoat has been a revelation for us. Her coat is so much smoother and she seems to have fewer hairballs since we started using this comb. The Resco is a very solid tool that we are more than happy with after two months of heavy use. Highly recommended!
