It appears a little cheap, but I can't complain too much. It was cheaper than a competing brands product, and even came with a bulb. It also has features that the competition doesn't provide for 20% more money

I really like how they considered multiple ways to install this light. It's pretty versatile and tbh I wouldn't have thought so with this type. It's the reason I haven't had one sooner. I wasn't sure I could use it with my set up. I changed my set up knowing this was coming, but I actually didn't even need to. They provide all the hardware to hang this light in several different scenarios.Other than that, the fixture quality is superb. There is nothing cheap feeling or looking about it. Yet it's very lightweight which is extremely convenient. The bulb itself is a perfect fit, slides right in, and then spins into place. Nice and easy. Great wattage so the bulb isn't too bright, but my uvb sensor shows great uvb rays coming off of the thing, at a great distance.This light reflects uvb to a further distance than my dome light ever could. I'm extremely happy to have this light, and so is my turtle!

I have 2 frogs in a large terrarium and had a light that was only half the length of the tank to allow the other half to be their shade. It unfortunately changed their calling, and mating, habits. I chose this new kit because it came with everything I need. I have the light on a timer and it has restored consistent calling behavior. I also checked the output on a UV card and it registered purple, indicating good UV levels.For the current price of $56, this kit is well worth the money and delivers on the UVA and UVB. I'm hoping this helps reverse my frogs' metabolic issues and improves their overall health and wellbeing and that makes it worth every penny.Note: This is my honest opinion and I hope my experience helps you in your decision.

The light bulb that came with this fixture did not work. I had to have the light so I had to buy a replacement bulb.

I've happily used many Repti Zoo products in the past and I can confirm this UVB light/fixture is on par with the quality of their other products. The fixture is well constructed. It does not feel shoddy or questionable as some cheaper alternatives may.As always, ensure you selected the correct bulb for your reptile type.
