This has been a game-changer for my leopard gecko now that his terrarium is near a drafty window during winter. It gives him the extra boost of heat he needs during the day AND overnight, without a pesky light in his eyes. I LOVE that in came in a 2-pack so I have a backup on hand. This is my first time using a CHE, but my standard heat lamps tend to have a short lifespan, so I’m really glad to have a spare on hand already. 🦎

I live in north florida; when the cold temps arrive, I cover my potted plants and keep this “lamp” under the cover to keep them warm; it doesn’t get hot- just warm enough to keep my plants above 50 degrees F. -no damage-

Work very well, but extremely hot and will burn your animal. If you’re not careful make sure you’ve got it up away from where they can reach it. I wish it wasn’t so hot.

Just the right size and worked so well my drqgon woke from brumating. He clearly was getting too cold and this really helps keep temps up in the winter.
