My review is based off of comparing this tubing to my 2 year old classic Littmann stethoscope tubing. This tubing is thinner, longer, and more flexible. The sound quality seems the same to me.

I am an ICCU RN. I am impressed by this product. It is compatible to my 3M Littmann Classic II SE. The sound is audible. The original Littmann tubing is still much more audible than this but for 19.99, it is practical. I get to keep the rest of the pieces of my old stethoscope.The tubing color is so cute, it's a little bit stickier than the original Littmann tubing. I bought this to replace the cracked tubing on my Littmann master classic. The head fit perfectly and it was very easy to replace. The sound is fine and far better than my old cracked one. The reason I gave it 4 stars is the fact that the earpieces are permanently attached. I wanted to use my Littmann ones, but these are soft and come in 3 different sizes, so it wasn't hard to find something close. FYI, the medium ones felt closest to my original Littmann ones. All in all its a good deal and way cheaper than replacing my whole stethoscope.

The tubing works excellently and was a far cheaper solution than replacing my entire stethoscope when the original tubing cracked. I was lucky to have seen a previous review of a buyer complaining that the tubing didn't fit their stethoscope bell and the seller noted that sometimes the tubing needs to be heated to soften it. This was true for me. I heated the tubing for about 60 seconds with my hair dryer, and it softened and easily fit my bell after that. The need to do that doesn't down-grade the rating at all in my opinion, since this tubing is meant to be universal and obviously can't fit every bell out of the box. My Littman sounds great after the swap, and it's amazing how much better the sound quality is when your tubing's not cracked! :)

I've had a traditional Littman since graduating nursing school. My first was a black one and it disappeared. The second was a teal color and I had it until the tubing cracked. This replacement tube is fantastic! I hesitated at buying it because I thought I wouldn't get the same kind of sound quality but it's the same great quality of an actual Littman. I also got the tubing in pink. Now no one asks to borrow it and everyone knows it's mine. Good purchase for your money!!!
